Marc has the better team therefore a better record...

This should be enough clear, objective, statistical evidence to justify Demarcus over Marc, let alone ANY center in the league. Best center in the league.

Marc is the superior defender, sure. Although, Demarcus has closed the gap, and Marc has superior defensive coaching and system. As well as higher quality defensive teammates. In the offense spectrum, it's a no contest. Demarcus DESTROYS him.

Cousins hands down due age and visible on court impact despite Marc still being the better defender. However if it's just for one playoff series I'm taking Gasol. Gasol > Cousins at the most important aspect of ball- staying on the court. When Cousins fixes that foul trouble issues he will truly be unstoppable. Pretty much all of Sac's losses have come off Cousins picking up cheap fouls.

Also, holy crap get rid of Jason Thompson. I'm sure there's a 6'9ish D-leaguer who can hit open j's and grab a few boards.

Well, you would be wrong. I like watching Cousins. He is more entertaining than Marc and is very very good with very nice improvements. I think it is close, but I'd still take Marc because he has consistently been level headed since entering the NBA and is the better defender.
