Halo has been dominant since day one. Winning rings, MVPs, DPOY.

Halo 1? Timeless.

Halo 2? GOAT.

Halo 3? Epic.

Reach? Fresh.

Halo 4? Unique.

Of course 4 was a slight drop, just like Jordan in the 2nd 3peat.

Halo peaked with 2/3, when it came out it was the first major console fps that matched up with PC efforts. Nowadays, some of its thunder has been stolen by call of duty, borderlands, battlefield, and about 1000 other shooters.

That is true. Just like 1st 3peat Jordan. Halo 2 is widely considered the greatest FPS console shooter of all time. the only knock on Halo 2 was the campaign ending which really wasn't that bad. Halo 3 multiplayer wise was about just as good as Halo 2, arguably better by some.

Uncharted series is better in terms of consoles. I'm sure many would pick the GTA series over it too.

Mario Kart and Gran Turismo are better selling series as well.

no. I don't think there is a michael jordan of gaming. There's too many great games and too many preferences. People here are just listing their favourite games now. If any franchise was going to be a GOAT franchise it'd probably have to be something like Mario that has been around for decades and had a large cultural impact.

It's definitely the best console FPS series. Halo:CE and the original Xbox helped shape FPS' future on consoles.

Halo is untouchable, like the LOTR trilogy or TDK trilogy. It stands so far above the rest. The best console series.
