How good are they?
Bear in mind Durant went 29-12 without Westbrook last season, which was on pace for 58 wins.

Put Durant on the Cavs... so basically Cavs are missing Durant?

durant got 5.5 assists last year - only 13% less than lebron's 6.3... but durant's time of possession was 28% less.
that's just one example, but yeah, they would be so much better for one simple reason: no lebron-ball.

Considering the FACT that "LeBron-Ball" won 2 rings and 4 straight Finals, "LeBron-Ball" >>>>> KD-Ball.

lebron played lebron-ball in 2011, which is why he lost (the mavs made him ineffective as a ball-dominator and he didn't know what else to do).
but he didn't play lebron-ball in 2012, at least not nearly as much - he made a concerted effort to post and play off-ball a little more, especially in the Finals.
but in 2013, he started to revert back to what was comfortable and natural for him... he escaped with a ring, but the signs were there that he was reverting back to lebron-ball and that teams might be on to it.
in 2014, the bottom fell out... the 2013 championship was fools gold, and it made lebron double-down on the lebron-ball he had already begun to revert back to... by the end of the 2014 regular season, the Heat were playing full-fledged lebron-ball... part of the reason was because wade wasn't there much to command touches and keep him in check.
In the 2014 Finals - complete exposure... Lebron-ball is officially dead as an effective tactic... teams are on to it... his non-aggressive, ball-dominant approach where he positions teammates perfectly for him to get only good shots, was thoroughly exposed - the Spurs were ready for it and beat their advantage like a drum.
Unfortunately for lebron, he seems completely unaware of how he was exploited in the 2014 Finals, or that teams are on to his basic style... so he still does a lot of lebron-ball in cleveland, and has yet to figure it out - one has to wonder if he has the CAPACITY to both figure it out and execute a better style.
so again, durant doesn't play lebron-ball, and just that by itself makes him a better player at this point in their respective careers.. :pimp:

You do realize that the '11 Heat was basically Wade and LeBron taking turns in scoring, right? Obviously you do not, because you've never seen a single Heat games. Outside the LeBron choke in the Finals, the Heat basically raped the EC opponents.

:oldlol:
What the **** is "LeBron-Ball"? BTW, LeBron was more ball dominant in '12 and '13 than he was in '11, since Wade was injured often and took a back seat.
in 2014, the bottom fell out... the 2013 championship was fools gold, and it made lebron double-down on the lebron-ball he had already begun to revert back to... by the end of the 2014 regular season, the Heat were playing full-fledged lebron-ball... part of the reason was because wade wasn't there much to command touches and keep him in check.

The Heat lost because of its defense, idiot. Wade only took 1.5 fewer shots per game than he did in '13. LeBron took the fewest shots of his career in '14. Not dominating the ball enough is "LeBron-Ball"?
so again, durant doesn't play lebron-ball, and just that by itself makes him a better player at this point in their respective careers.. :pimp:

of course lebron has the better overall career so far - not disputing that.
but i'm saying right now - TODAY, durant is the better player, specifically because he does not employ the figured-out and ineffective lebron-ball.

You know the same logic could be used:
Irving > Wade
Waiters > Chalmers
Love > Bosh
Varejao >Haslem
Thompson > Birdman
Marion > Rashard Lewis
Miller = Battier
How difficult is it for people to understand that this has more to do with team chemistry than anything else right now.

"On paper"........
Nash already made a great example with the Heat/Cavaliers.
Some retards think it's that simple.

example ^.
I doubt KD even beats the Celtics @ Boston.
I ain't counting on KD dropping 41/7 on 59% with 2 major 4th quarter defensive stops in a block on Green and strip on Rondo to get the ball in the last 15 secs..
