I have rarely seen anyone improve on defense in one season. He just hit another dagger. Had nine of our last 12 to close it out again. We go to 12-3 pretty much without having our starting lineup all year. Defenseis now our staple unlike last season. No offense to lin and parsons, but they were the weak links on defense.

Motiejunas is a pretty solid pf defender better than people think, he is a not a shoot blocker but a good position defender who is long and stay on his feet, sometimes gets in foul trouble but good defense, and Kostas is all hustle the guy struggling with the shoot so far in the NBA but he work pretty hard on defense and that's was his reputation in Europe is not a fluke.

People are looking for any excuse to put him under the microscope. They will ignore all the improvement but the people with an agenda will go with what suits their agenda. You just have to ignore it.

It's hilarious how before the season started the naysayers were like "Houston probably won't even make the playoffs. Look at that garbage roster they have."

Now that Harden is leading his team to W's both offensively and defensively the narrative has changrd. "It's not all Harden, look at old man Terry, the European 2nd rounder and Tarik Black. Harden is benefiting from his teammates." :roll:

The truth is Harden can win DPOY, MVP and FMVP in the season and he still won't get the respect he deserves. Let the haters be. They'll have to deal with reality sooner or later.
