View Full Version : If Curry wins MVP and FMVP
will he become the new face of the NBA? It's about time the NBA has a non polarizing face of the league unlike Kobe and Bran.

He would be a good face for the league. Relatively average sized person who specializes in the pure skill of shooting. Something for kids to look up to. I support him.

One of only three guys in the NBA I'd do in a heartbeat. I'd be ecstatic if the dubs win it all and he gets FMVP.

Wouldn't mind seeing Curry as the face of the league. He's my favorite current player besides Ray, or LeBron (if you count Ray)

really love GS and curry, but kinda have to agree, bad style and too young; i just don't see them winning a lot of playoff games, these games r a different animal...i actually wudnt know how they cud improve either to be honest, besides getting older..i guess trying to improve defense is the way to go for GS in next years

:biggums: They were ranked 4th in defense last year and are ranked 2nd this year...the key is just for Bogut to stay healthy.

maybe u r right, ill guess well see; i just don't think they will perform well in conference and nba final games yet...but u might be right and its rather offense that is an issue, i think they have a style that usually has trouble against playoff intensity defense...but i also don't see them turning it on a notch on defense the way the spurs or dallas will come playoffs, the spurs will make it a lot harder to score on them in the playoffs, im not sure GS can do that too...
but obviously, i might be wrong, just an opinion...we

Screw faces, i will call him the best player in the NBA if he does that.
But the chances of him doing it / GSW winning championship etc. is very unlikely. I think he can get MVP, but playoffs is a different beast.
He won't
Bump. Are you still sure about that bro?

I hate to break it you...he already is the face of the NBA.
Everytime I tune into games, he is all over the NBA ads and is starting to get major ad campaigns as well. With Durant being out majority of the year, and the Cavs having internal drama, Curry is and will be the face of the league the next 5 years.
He isn't covered in tattoos and he has a baby face charm that executives and advertisers drool over.
I feel like the NBA should already be gearing up to adopt Curry as the new face of the league. He lead the league in ASG votes, is a fantastic role model compared to the other superstars in the league, and is one of the most exciting players to watch.
MVP and FMVP should seal it.

He's not a douchebag like LeBron*, so thats already a huge plus.
Even though he got screwed out of winning FMVP Curry is the undisputed face of the NBA. I called it one year ago.
