There's no doubt about it.
Dude has slimmed down and become much more agile and reliable over long periods of time.
DPOY caliber with the offensive game to boot.

I don't think he even cares if he'd be MVP or not. Not a priority.
Some players say that like they are trying to portray an image but when he says it I believe him.
Keep beasting Marc.

right now, im all for marc. Curry is lower, since he has a stacked team. I expect lebron to make a huge push though.

Didnt lebron make a push last season and ran out of gas?

He's the MVP for the first 15 games of the season. 67 more games to go.

i like marc. but the thing i dont like about the guy being mvp is that he isnt a go to guy/creator of points
he scores all his shots off penitration/kickouts
if anything conelys the mvp of that team
he sets up every one of his own shots and gasols
steph curry is way more of a focal point of his team. he does more than marc gasol and carrys the responsibilities of a conely at PG

So Bill Russell was undeserving of all his MVP's?

What could've been: gasol brothers + Kobe. Hindsight, you're such a bitch/tease!
I think Gasols > CP/Dwight, less ego and more heart!

The Kwame trade was the best ever. Pure magic.
Too bad Stern did not trust Kupchak with the CP3 trade.

Why are people treating that as a "best player on the best team award"? It's an individual award. Why does it matter how good one's teammates are for an individual award?
Anthony Davis, Steph Curry and maybe Chris Paul. Those should be the MVP leaders right now.
Someone like Lowry is having a very good year but he is not on the level of those guys individually. And that's coming from a Raptors fan. Marc Gasol isn't on their level either.

So Bill Russell was undeserving of all his MVP's?
is marc gasol averaging 25 rebounds and 10 blocks per game?
marcs a solid player. hes a star. great season. but hes dependant on a PG's penitration and someone drawing his man away for the open look since his shot is flat footed
steph curry is the mvp. hes way more self reliant
and sets up almost 10 assists a game while dropping 20+

Marc Gasol creates shots for his teammates and himself as well. I'm not taking anything away from Conley; I think he's 1b on Memphis; He's the engine. But Gasol does quite a bit of playmaking and shot creating on that team as well.

So Bill Russell was undeserving of all his MVP's?
no his not saying marc is not deserving, its the fact that his not double and tripled teamed on each possession. A lot of people underestimate how hard it is to carry an offensive load
