Under the president’s new amnesty, businesses will have a $3,000-per-employee incentive to hire illegal immigrants over native-born workers because of a quirk of Obamacare.
President Obama’s temporary amnesty, which lasts three years, declares up to 5 million illegal immigrants to be lawfully in the country and eligible for work permits, but it still deems them ineligible for public benefits such as buying insurance on Obamacare’s health exchanges.

This is the reason why civil wars occurs. I can see giving them work permits because a lot of them are here to work abut giving big businesses incentive money so that they may hire them? Now that's bullcrap. The inmigrants are not better or worse than native Americans

The worst part is if you oppose the immigration laws you are deemed a racist and that's the way the media/white house markets it. Just recently Obama said something like only Native Americans can oppose the immigration laws, really Obama did you just go there?
The only people who get screwed out are the working class people who'll see illegal immigrants willing to work at a wage much less than their own. Only people benefiting are the rich corporate whores who'll have an army of laborers doing their dirty work while they will make even more money. But the media will spin it as the rich white people are opposed to the laws while they are the ones pushing for it :facepalm

Let me guess black people would still vote for Obama. They are the ones getting screwed the most. The rich keep getting richer. Obama is no different..actually worse. This country is becoming a third world country. Corruption is even hidden anymore from the top in the white house.

Rich and middle class people don't care about immigration because they can support it on a mass scale to feel good about themselves, while also having enough money to live in areas not negatively affected by such a mass influx. They are too distanced from the consequences to recognise them, but then have the cheek to slander working class people for complaining.
It's the same in the UK where the 3 major parties continuously patronise the working class about immigration while doing nothing about it, and now combine to target and call racist the only party in the UK that actually represents working class interests in any way, shape or form.

I live in the south. Listening to talk radio in the car...the people calling in to complain...they arent helping. I dont know if its poor caller selection or not but...these people are absolutely coming off racist. Granted in the south...less is expected. Same shows host yesterday responded to a sign he said he saw a protester with that said "Black people matter" with "Oh....do they?" and went on a 20 or so minute rant.
Its the kind of thing that if played in full for a national audience there would be outrage.
There are reasonable people who are anti immigration. At least I assume there are.
Most I hear from just dont like Mexicans and dont make it a secret.
But again...im in the south.

People are stupid, just by the way they phrase things to go their way. In this case the OP says, "Obama gives businesses $3,000 to business to hire illegals. Making it sound as if he's blatantly taking tax payer's money and giving it to business owners who hire illegal. Rather than the reality that it's just a loophole that a business can take advantage off, because of two seperate things. I just feel it's a form of lying, not giving the full facts and just saying, he's taking your money and telling them to hire illegals.
The business who takes advantage of this are assholes.

Just because racists are inevitably going to be anti-immigration does not make questioning what has been little more than an open-border policy racist. An argument doesn't lose its validity or truth because a large number of bigots happen to share the same sentiments. Nor does being a bigot automatically make you wrong on every subject by default.
There is strong evidence that racial prejudice is to some extent biological, and if we could acknowledge this, and use it as a starting point from which to tackle and understand racism, we would achieve far more than we do by simply trying to deny reality, and tackle 'hate' with just hate flung in the opposite direction. Instead the country simply engages in racial hysterics, name-calling and childishness as it enforces a new moral orthodoxy (racists the new child molesters in terms of societal opprobrium). This is why white people who engage in moral posturing over race are so clearly doing so to hide from themselves, and their own prejudices, of which they hope to deny existence. Completely disproportionate responses to what are relatively common offenses.

It is basically true but can be interpreted in many different ways. I mean, titles have to be catchy, not too long and contain some truth so I think it's a decent one. The full facts are inside.
Business that don't take advantage of what makes them more profitable are stupid.

Of course it doesnt make you racist....but listen to some of these people. You know many are.
I imagine its an element that more rational types wish they could hush....at least in public.
Its like how there are plenty of reasonable black people who could explain why they vote democrat...but you see some interviewed who dont know anything about either party.
Just wish they would go away for a while.

Ultimately the title is completely true, he pushed Obamacare and this is his executive order. The combo penalizes businesses who choose to hire citizen or even a legal resident over an illegal with a fresh work permit. I don't know if it would have been possible to work with a hostile congress(ok it's basically out of the question) to make it so any business hiring an illegal with a work permit still has to pay the same health exchange penalty but that's his responsibility. He knowingly made these incentives for businesses to hire illegals. End of story.

Lots of radio shows prescreen their callers. The producers select who they want. You very rarely see the host shown up by someone with a different opinion. I would say they are picking these callers because they know their auidence.

I understand what you are saying. Those callers that are against the immigration policy for the sake of them not being of their race and they couldn't care less about the potential economic ramifications or how it could hurt existing US citizens.
I just hate when people use the argument that these immigration policies is what helps businesses stay afloat and without it our economy would collapse without it. Such a dumb argument.

So the $3,000 (paid by businesses) is basically to cover health insurance for illegal immigrants because they can't get ACA("Obamacare")?
Great....meanwhile native-born and legally naturalized Americans have to pay $3000 out of their own pockets for Obamacare. :facepalm
That's not what they're saying. What they are saying is that businesses can now take advantage of a loophole that can save business owner's $3,000 a year if they higher an illegal. So now your office, or computer programming job are in danger because the illegals are going to take over.
Being illegal they can't enroll in Obamacare, and that's how companies like Apple and Microsoft are going to get rid of their current employees and hire tax paying illegals.

I'm praying for a coup. But impeachment will have to do. He's sabotaging this country. Can you imagine if a Republican takes office in 2016 and tries to reverse what he's done?? It would be impossible. It would sound so bigoted trying to reverse what Obama is doing that Republicans won't even touch it.

just saw obamas quote which said that the only people with the right to complain about immigration (in this case illegal) are native americans. how this man got elected not once, but twice, with as little experience as he had, and with him doing the things that he is doing is beyond me.
dude literally told native americans (people born in america) to stop complaining about illegal immigration just because they aren't "native americans." fukking lol.

this coming from the same guy who pushed the idea that of cash for clunkers when the auto industry disaster hit.
lets say the illegals are like a foreign import vehicle.
they appear to just cost about the same as your native made vehicles.
only these vehicles have these hidden cost in maintenance that are much higher than your american vehicles.
do they drive better? do they have better safety? are they more gas efficient and eco-friendly?

Being strict on immigration has a lot less to do with racism (if at all) and everything to do with economics. An influx of lower class workers means that those already at that level are about to experience greater difficulty progressing when all the resources are about to have more hands grabbing at them. Unless this law brings an influx of job creators, then it does nothing but cushion the employers already here with more underhanded tricks to save money at the cost of the common man.

to counter your point on economics on the pure basis of taxation
you can have one great immigrant, who bridges the gap in cultural differences
or you can have an amount of immigrants, who due to the vast amount of offsprings, diversifies the culture at the grass root level

That post got me this response though:
'congratulations, you have been nominated for biggest douche in the universe. its gonna be hard to beat patrickchewing, but i believe in you.'
Most people on here don't like me as i try to tell the truth and the truth tends to hurt people's feelings and convictions, which they usually neither understand or justify through anything aside from unfounded moral sentiments. They adopt Christian morality and its elevation of the weak and inefficient, without even being Christians - they don't even realise that their moral feelings and inclinations come from Christianity, which they tend to hate.
Also, I find it pretty funny that someone takes a line from South Park to use against me, when South Park is one of my favourite shows as it satirises the types of prudes, puritans and moralisers who take themselves so seriously, and infest this site (as well as contemporary political discourse). Damn, they even agree with me on smoking, another issue which tends to draw irate comments from ISH's moral warriors, because it upsets their delusions about life and so they'll poke their cowardly heads out from their shells of rectitude to talk about the evils of the tobacco lobby et al. and how this gives them a right to control and impede the lives of others.
Interesting. I see that as the post of someone who spends many hours a day on political websites that support his strong points of views, where all repeat the same talking points over and over. The same ish, and not one original thought.
That's funny. Do you know how i know you're pulling this straight out of your arse? Because I barely follow current affairs; i don't care about them, because they are boring, unimportant and irrelevant, a waste of time and a distraction from more important things. I certainly don't spend my time trawling the internet for material. You don't need to follow the day-to-day grind to keep adrift with current affairs. It's like school where you could miss a couple weeks and come back and not even have missed anything - unless you're a dumbass, that is. A few hours of every month and you can catch up with what's actually happening, because politics is 99% fluff and hot air.
The most important thing is to train your mind to examine things unsentimentally, and so to see through all the fluff continuously paraded in front you by politicians who know exactly what they're doing, which is simply manipulating figures and emotions to manipulate opinion. I don't need to read anything more than i have to know they are doing this, because it is the natural MO of all politicians. I don't believe for a second Obama doesn't know what he's doing when he props up GM, then floods the country with cheap credit, specifically allowing the same kind of loans for cars as were allowed (for mortgages) and that sparked the housing crisis in 07. But this way, because loads of people are spending money they don't have on cars they don't have to make payments on, we can point to the success of GM like KevNYC likes to do and sing Kumbaya the lord has saved us.
As for original thought, well, i do often have thoughts i've never actually come across before, but i highly doubt they're 'original' as precious little is these days. I mean, it's pretty rare to see a post on this site that even utilises basic amounts of ratiocination, let alone be original. Seems you are holding me to standards no-one else is held to if you expecting me to come up with 'original' contributions to intellectual discourse while posting on ISHs.
btw, was Darwin original? Because he certainly wasn't the first to posit human evolution, he was just the first to not be laughed aside.

Nah it's the prospect of opportunity. But if you look at this in black and white, Americans cannot win if the opportunity is given to people who should be at the back of the line. Migrate to the U.S. all you want, but let's worry about our poor and hungry first.
I am POSITIVE, that if business were to pay regular wages for fear of getting fined or shut down otherwise, the American citizen would be far better off economically.
