Calling it now. Clippers and Spurs could upset things, but I'm going with the Dubs and Grizz.

Sacramento will make it to the 2nd round.

Demarcus Cousins is the best center in the league.

Dubs and Grizz don't matchup well with us. One of them would have to beat us to get there. :confusedshrug:

Is there a more disrespected franchise than the Spurs?

You guys are the favorite but I feel Dallas and Memphis are the best suited against SAS. It is impossible to predict WCF at this stage though, feel like 4-5 are contenders to win the west and 6-7 have a legit chance at WCF thus a punchers chance in the WCF.

I hope the Wests ends like

Memphis
Golden State
San Antonio
Houston
Portland
Dallas
Los Angeles
Oklahoma City

That would be really cool but actually would like to see the Kings/Pels over LA/OKC

Get the **** out of here with this garbage prediction.

Memphis will probably be knocked out in the first round AGAIN by the Thunder, if the Grizz can hold on to a high seed.

Regardless, the Thunder will be in the WCF. Really anyone who says otherwise shouldn't be taken serious.

Only to lose to a much, much less talented team.for the 3rd year in a row.

LAC/GSW is a rematch too

But I think all the matchups have a chance to flip this season. Also wasn't last year arguably the most entertaining 1st round.

The Thunder won't have time to gel. I think they'll still make the playoffs, but will get bounced in the second round.

Splash Bros. vs Grizz.

Book it.

Won't have time to gel? Barring anymore injury setbacks, they're going to get pretty much all of December, and all of January, February, March, and half of April to play together before the playoffs start.

Bro, why you scurred of the Spurs? If anything, I'd want my team to go through the best teams on the way to the championship.

Hell, I WANTED my Bulls to play the Pistons back in the day. It was so satisfying to sweep their asses out of the playoffs after losing to them three years in a row. After that, I loved my Bulls beating the shit out of the best teams in the league as we won in the 90s.

Point. I still don't think they'll get past Memphis this year doe.

I'd take GS and Memphis even over a healthy Thunder team.

Spurs will repeat though.

You making a stupid thread with a stupid prediction (wow you wait to see who has the best record then predict they do well!) has nothing to do with what team I root for. Don't change the subject.

If you want to discuss the unlikely hood of Denver making the playoffs then start a new thread. This one is about how worthless your prediction is.

And it's definitely not "bold"

Yeah, you mad.

And dude, IT'S. STILL. EARLY.

Both teams could flop by mid-season. Both teams could get knocked out of the first round, with the way the West is.

I'm saying they won't.

If this was February and I was saying this, you'd have a point. Right now, the only point you have is on top of your head.

NugzFan

Yeah, you mad.

Yup. For reading a terrible thread.

The only good news is if you are right, no one is impressed that you can read the western conference standings.
If you are wrong you will look like an idiot.

Nice try but simply choosing the top two teams in the standings is pathetic at best. I know you think it's a bold prediction but it's not.

Anyway, it's not an unreasonable prediction, but just not the one I have. I think Memphis can get there and play the Mavs

i believe that OKC healthy can wipe out any team except the spurs. if lets say the mavs can take out the spurs then OKC is going to the finals against the heat.

Why the hell is OP trying to defend his prediction? This shit isn't 'bold'. If I show the standings to my 2 year old cousins he would predict the same shit. Is he making a 'bold' prediction? No he's fvcking not. Fvck outta here with your 'bold' prediction shit. You reckon this is 'bold' because the two best team in the west MIGHT slip and fall? Fvck outta here.

Bold is me predicting that Derrick Rose will play a full season. Bold is me predicting that Lebron won't say something which later comes back to bite him in the ass. Bold is me predicting that a teammate of Kobe's will finish a game with more shits than him. Bold is me predicting that this board can go a full 24 hours without discussing Harden's defense or whether his beard smells like the sweaty armpits of a glue sniffing hill billy or the vag of the bird who actually gets penetrated by him.

Fvck outta here.

Thunder might not even make the playoffs. The West is tough. All it takes is a few more injuries or a bad run and they fall even further behind. When you are healthy and get a hot start it gives you some breathing room. When you start slow you have to be near perfect for the rest of the season to catch up.

In the East it's easy, in the West it's hard even without injuries. Every year one or two teams miss out that deserve to be there and then get a crappy pick because they didn't tank.

The West is brutal.
