He may struggle his first few games but after that, I predict a 37/9/5 on 54% statline, with elite perimeter D.
And of course his uncanny ability to lead and get the best out of his teammates. KD probably has the most impressive intangibles basketball has ever seen, something that can't be measured but can't be overlooked.
KD will surpass Jordan sooner or later. Anyone who watches basketball should know that KD is a future GOAT.
Just making this thread for bump purposes. After this season, which I predict will be the best anyone has ever had, this thread shall be bumped.
And 10 years down the line when he is considered the GOAT, it shall be bumped too.

There's less than 1% chance of him leaving OKC in 2016.
Just don't see it happening. OKC will be able to pay him the most and he's just flat out loyal.
Why the hell would he leave a team he helped build from the ground up? He's not LeBron. He's not a cowardly, short cut taker. KD is a much better person than LeBron in every aspect of life. No way he ruins his legacy by going to Wall's Wizards.

Doesn't ruin his legacy at all if he wins a championship :biggums:
Its called being smart and being competitive. If someone is truly competitive and alpha, then they are willing to do whatever it takes to win, and that means withstanding the scrutiny and hate from fans for switching to a better team

Demarcus Cousins is the best center in the league.

Yeah, he has Westbrook by his side and young talent. Of course not winning would ruin his legacy, but him not winning a title isn't plausible. Heck, they're no doubt winning it all this year, so all this 2016 shit won't even matter after they hoist the trophy.
He does whatever it takes to win on the court, like a real competitor. None of this team up with other superstar stuff. He has his own team and has a brother by his side. He's not leaving.

Jordan didn't choke in the playoffs when confronted with midgets and pressure. Unlike Durant. Let him lead his team to one title before beginning the comparison to the all time greats.

Very well said :applause:. Durant is legitimately the only player I could ever see surpassing GOATbe when it's said and done. He's already surpassed Jordan from sheer dominance alone imo.

durant should take care to not have the same problems like tmac and grant hill. There is a reason why only crazy athletic freaks like lebron can be so tall and yet be natural guards without ever suffering from serious health issues, while playing crazy minutes.
KD's build is very similar to that of tmac, grant hill or shaun livingston.

KD averaged 31 points, 7 rebounds, five assists, 49% fg and 40% 3PT in games that Westbrook played last season. His numbers were much better without RW, actually.
What would prompt the OP that those numbers that he posted is even possible with everyone back, except maybe a massive amount of Homerism by the OP?

If OKC won it all this year, wouldn't that mean KD would have an asterisk* ring considering he didn't play a full season?

People say that LeBron's ring of 2012 is an * since it was a 66 game shortened lockout season.
If KD plays in 66 games or less, that would be an * ring, no?
