I been doing this recently, only this week, where I would set the alarm 1 hour before I need to wake up to only sleep 1 more hour after. Basically waking myself up.

I read somewhere that melatonin stays in your system for almost an hour after u wake up so that's why it feels like the most heavenly deep sleep during snooze alarms.

Like, I said, I've only done this for a week and I feel amazing each day. I don't even need a double expresso in the morning anymore.

Anyone else do this? Does it work for you too? Or is it all placebo?

Noobs.

Download a sleep analysis app. They set it 30 minutes before you should wake up and they ease you into waking up.

and invest in this. light is the bodies indicator for melatonin to go down, and serotonin to go up.

Not sure if this is healthy. A sleep cycle lasts for 1.5 hours, so every 1.5 hours you are at your lightest phase of the sleep pattern and is the easiest way to wake at that time. When you got to sleep its best to set your alarm for 4.5 hours, 6 hours, 7.5 hours, 9 hours, etc mark depending on how much time you have to sleep. Its been tested and its much easier to wake up during the lighter stage of sleep.

@BigBoss apps are for noobs
