He's currently attempting ~23 FGA for ~ 26 PPG, so he would need 89 FGA :applause: :applause:

That might just be what he's trying to do. Except for maybe Wilt Chamberlain the NBA has never had a player...I'm sorry, but what the heck is up with this Rodman-wannabe on St. Johns?

With the way Kobe is shooting even if he took 100% of the available shots in a game there still would not be enough shots for him score 100..

He'd actually have to be efficient for that to happen. No way is he putting up 100 shots in a game.

The only player that could have challenged Wilt's 100 point game...

was Wilt, himself.

He certainly had games where he might have made a run at it. For instance, his last 60+ point game (66 points), came on 29-35 shooting from the field.

I would absolutely pay to see that. As much as I know it would kill their chances of winning the actual game, it would be highly entertaining for just one time. It would be awesome if they were about to play Philly and then Kobe announces a day prior that he's going to try and get 100 points - the Lakers organization and Byron Scott release an official statement saying players will only allow Kobe to shoot the ball for their game, etc...

Actually, I remember there was this D3 college ball team that would orient their offense in exactly this manner. They wouldn't broadcast who would shoot but pre-game they would define which player would get to shoot solely for a single quarter/half or something. It made national headlines when that one dude scored like 138 points.

Prime kobe could do it. Just needed to push a bit harder. I think current durant is capable. He just needs to beast and be greedy as hell and chuck
