Finally a team I respect. This is a tough team. If we win this the win streak could get really big. 15-18 games.

Grizzlies are the best defensive team Portland has played but we look good offensively tonight. I didn't see it come this easy last season. Every single shot we got against Memphis was tough.

Nice quarter, Gasol is playing like shit and the defense is inexistent

RoseCity07

Batum injured his wrist years ago and has never been the same shooter from 3. It doesn't seem that way anyway.

Portland just hit everything at first, and then missed everything at the end of the quarter.

I thought I saw Matthews elbow bleeding on the free throw. There was the one glob on his arm. I was like wtf...no one noticed until now.

Grizz used to be a lot easier to beat when they didn't have a bench. Every season the bench gets better.

I know Stotts likes to rest starters in the first half to pounce on teams in the second half but that might not work tonight. I think he needs to bring back Aldridge now.

A pretty good example of why Portland will struggle in the playoffs.

TaLvsCuaL

What I like about this team is that when a player is not having his night like Gasol, there's always someone to contribute. A bit weak offensively tho but still incredibly balanced team.

What a pass off the backboard by Conley.. probably missed shot but still..

Refs have put their whistles away and Grizz are beasting..

Portland can't beat Memphis. They may win a game or two but not 4 out of 7. Batum has been the weak link in our line up for a while. Every single Blazer has gotten better but he stays the same or gets worse. He can't make a three to save his life, and now he thinks he's a point guard but telegraphs all his passes.

Batum helps us beat up on all the bad teams. He's a nightmare for most teams. He doesn't show up against elite teams. I don't think Batum will never be the player people want him to be.

Both teams are getting exposed.

Blazers lack depth and the Grizzlies don't have enough firepower for the full 48 mins.

Ball hit rim, shot clock should reset.

Those two missed 3's from Lillard have deflated the Blazers.

It would be a blowout if it wasn't for Matthews 3's and Grizz FT's..

Nic Batum 0-5 from 3. Every single one of them was an open shot.:oldlol:

I really wish he was consistent like Matthews and Lillard. If Batum could shoot like Matthews he'd be a special player. If you think I'm exaggerating Batum is 0 for his last 13 three point shots.

I knew Memphis was this good but I don't know what to take away from a game like this. Memphis is a huge jump in talent from the teams we've been beating. So maybe Portland just didn't know how to gauge what it would take to win this game. Also, I really do think Blazers squandered a ton of shots that are shots they can and do make.

Either way, Memphis is going to make a ton of teams we play seem so much worse. We are going to destroy Minny and a bounce back game.

GG Memphis. I really do think it's Memphis and San Antonio at the top.

It was a good fight. Portland only have been needed a better shooting percentage tonight. I really like this Blazers team, and despite their shortcomings they are capable of beating anyone in my opinion.
