The Lakers should trade Steve Nash for Josh Smith and a 1st. Josh would be a nice upgrade as a stretch 4 and would really help the worse defence in the league...and Nash could stay on vacation, Detroit just gets rid of Josh.

Lakers get josh smith and a 1st for nothing? Sure. Makes a ton of sense.
You should be able to flip that pick and Jordan hill for westbrook
Josh smith is going to ny

wonder what it would take for the lakers to give up their 2015 1st round pick which is likely top 3.

The first is just to get rid of Josh Smiths horrible contract 2 years early and help them re-sign G Monroe...
There's no guarantee that Monroe is going to stay. He can sign with any team he wants in the off season. Detroit can't just move Smith, potentially lose Monroe, and then have no PF. The only thing they can do is see if Monroe really wants to stay after this season and then try to move Smith if he does. There's no way Detroit is just giving up first round picks either lol.
