Duncan and a still functional Robinson's first championship Spurs team vs the Shaq/Kobe Lakers team that only lost one game in the playoffs.
Who you got?

2001 Lakers fairly easily. Hell, give me 01 Lakers over any Bulls teams.

As I've said with every 01 Lakers thread, it all depends on Fisher.
If he stays hot, they beat every team in NBA history.
If not, there are quite a few teams that could beat them...I don't think the 99 Spurs are one of them.
Kobe was too good...not really anyone good enough to contain him (even though Duncan and Robinson would hold Shaq well below his averages).

Who's going to stop Shaq?
Bulls had bunch of big bodies to throw at him. Like they did when he was in Orlando.
On the other hand, who's gonna stop MJ, Pip and Kukoc? Who's gonna keep Rodman off the boards?

How is this even a question?
Lakers hands down.
Kobe owns Duncan's soul. Manu is Kobe's b1tch too....
Pop is Phil's slut.
I could go on....

And now Kobe's at it again...admitting Duncan's current success has lead to many sleepless nights for the Snack Mamba.

4-2 in sleepless night then.
And highlighting a loss at the end of a 4-peat attempt is rich considering the Spurs inability to win consecutive titles.

Odd, I don't remember Tim telling the media how sad Kobe's play makes him.
And trust me, Kobe would much rather have Duncan's rings. He needs to be the man, and he has half as many as the man as Tim.
Kobe Stans holding onto the past because the future is gut-wrenching.
