take away all the media awards and team accomplishments, how does cp3 stack up with bran?
he's clearly a better passer, perhaps not as good a scorer, a better defender at his position, can control the offense better, etc etc
what do you think?

Its vaguely arguable, but even without accolades he doesn't have too much of a case

If you take away Anderson Silva's arms and legs, do you think it's possible for an average person to beat his ass? I think it's quite arguable, tbh.

Great player, but nope. CP3 might do those things better but Lebron is just so good at everything, and he has taken over more games than CP3 has and done greater things in the league than CP3 probably ever will do.

There's definitely a case.
Whenever I see these guys training together I can't help but notice how Paul takes the alpha leadership role and LeBron just follows his orders. Mentally Chris Paul is on a different stratosphere than LeBron and I do take that into account.
I'd rather have Chris on the Thunder than Lebron if that answers your question. I'm sure there's more situations where Paul is a better fit for the winning culture of certain teams. So there is a big case for him being better.

Take away the accolades and team accomplishments, is there a case for Luol Deng > Jordan?
