Lebron's triple doubles are great and all but he does it in the flow of the game, which is very efficient from a system player and team standpoint.

Kobe's triple double is from a dominant style and Kobe is essentially the "flow".

Two different styles but everyone is going to have their favorites. I like Kobe's artistry and aesthetics. He is like Picasso where Lebron is refrigerator art. Both art but both different.

poorly officiated game.

Thought it was 2007 when kobe got all those phantom calls.

Seriously, it was downright rigged this game. One ref, older white dude, was obvious kobe fan.

That looked really impressive. Some of those passes... Fair play to Kobe having games like this at his age and mileage. Never was a massive Kobe guy but I'm loving old Kobe swansong.

Well he didnt shoot so well, but still, TD, 11 rebs, 12 assists getting everybody involved and as you can see its a winning formula, if he could play with this mentality every game i would be a Kobetard, but the reality is he will go back to himself next game, 11 of 42, 1 assist, they lose.

Its not a wining formula, unless he go to play in the EAST with another star.

The Lakers barley won, at home, in this formula, a east team without thier star player.

He took some really stupid shots... And made them. Props to Kobe but that's the reason why his FG% isn't great.

That behind the back pass doe

lol? Did you even watch the game? Lowry got a bunch of bullshit calls in crunch time, Lakers gave up 3 FTs to a foul on a 3pter that had no contact on it...

If refs favored Kobe as hard as you say they did, he would have gotten the call at the end of the 4th...

That behind the back pass doe

He missed some easy shots at the rim, the last shot in the 4th he attacked the basket to draw a foul and got knocked down

Some shots just fell short, he seems to come out and make a lot of shots in first halves and has been pretty efficient (started off 4-4 in this one), his shots fall short in 4th quarters, which seems to be due to his tired legs. You also don't see him miss FTs early in the games.

His conditioning isn't all there, yet he's playing 35-40 minutes a night. Dude has had like 2 dunks all season and he doesn't have any explosion at all. I see him getting in better shape as the season goes along.

Yea if Val was called on that I'd have had no problem with it. It was a foul, Jonas was helping too late the whole time when Kobe was penetrating.
But it wasn't called because of the fouls before it, either way that shit happens and it wasn't why we lost.

I only saw the second half, but the offense didn't look great for us and the defense couldn't get stops and gave us easy shots to guys who Kobe was passing too.

Damn Kobe doing it to the Raps again.

How on earth could this be construed as a good thing for Kobe and/or a bad thing for LeBron? :oldlol:

Oh yeah, I remember that thread you made about hero ball > team ball. I understand now, basketball fans these days. :facepalm

Very impressive performance by Kobe though, I'll give him that.

Kobe`s far from being the GOAT, but it was a really nice game from him!

He is dead slow, but his skilz still lets him operate! Nice to see!
Lets also see if he can string together some W`s and keep up distribution and production...

Kobe hasn't been concerned with rings at all though since 2011. He handicapped his franchise by willingly signing that stupid contract. He negated any chance for bringing in quality help to compete for championships in such a difficult conference.

You have no clue what you're talking about, butt sniffer. The Lakers tried to sign the best of the best and failed. Kobe's contract isn't holding back the franchise at all. The Lakers will spend and spend if the people want to play there. It's called paying a luxury tax, butt licker.

Lakers have been able to play competitive against many teams recently, now it's time to play better in 2nd halves...

Once Kobe's legs come back.... :lebronamazed: :lebronamazed:
