Brooks will keep his minutes down and ease him back into the lineup, as with any player coming back from an injury.

15 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists on 6/11 shooting, 1/3 from 3 and 2/2 at the line in 22 minutes.

Durant, Westbrook and Davis all on the floor at the same time

Totally random but in my 2k14 my career I got drafted to the Thunder as a 6'3 200lb PG and they traded Ibaka, Jackson and Adams for Davis later in the season when I got my attributes up.

In other words, Durant, Davis and Westbrook were on the same team.

My player/Westbrook/Durant/Davis/Perkins

Brian Windhorst says the plan is for Thunder forward Kevin Durant to make his season debut Tuesday against New Orleans as long as he makes it through shootaround without any issues.

You really think that a player, of KD's caliber, is gonna let a game like this pass him by? The best player in the world (Durant) is gonna let some hyped, young kid with one eyebrow snatch his reign as the BPITW?

Don't think so, buddy. Durant is a competitor. It's in his blood to compete. You think some little stress fracture in his foot is gonna stop him from giving it a go tonight? Durant's laughing at your face. :lol

He's playing tonight, period. Just let it go.

Durant is generally a slow starter even when he doesn't have an injury setback, so it wouldn't surprise me if tonight isn't his best or cleanest game. May take him even a little longer than usual to shake off the early season rust this year. Even then, Durant at 80%ish percent is still better than the vast majority of the players in the NBA and gives us another player the other team has to give a lot of attention to.

It would be shocking if he isn't on a minute restriction tonight and it is likely that he only plays 15 or 20 minutes. I suspect Oklahoma City restricts his minutes and then reevaluate him tomorrow to see how he feels following tonight's game. That's how they recently handled Andre Roberson, so I believe that they will do the same now.

With that, I believe he'll score 12 ppg, 4 rpg, 3 apg, 4/9 fga and play about 16 minutes. I wouldn't be surprised if he plays about eight minutes in the first half and eight minutes of the second half.

Oklahoma City will closely monitor his minutes for the first few games until they are confident that is foot is fully healthy going forward, IMO.

I'm telling you already, 36 points is extremely possible.

Who's defending Durant, again? Tyreke Evans? Laughable.

It looks like I am wrong on the number of minutes Kevin Durant will play more minutes than I thought because according to Royce Young from ESPN Scott Brooks said he'll likely play about 30 minutes tonight.

Anyone who steals an MVP from Lebron will never see the floor in any meaningful capacity again. His voodoo is unmatched. Look out for the oncoming muscle fatigue, Durant stans.
