Stats aside, he actually attacked the basket several times when we needed him to, instead of playing hot potato.

Didin't see the game, but I bet the Bucks fans are complaining (legitimately). Three point margin, with James getting 21 FTs. You know at least a few of those had to be shit calls.

Nope. He just took all the intentional foul shots.

He had 10 fts at the end on intentional fouls.

how does a guy go from averaging 7 fta a game to getting 25 free throws in a night where he only hit 6 shots?

nba's officiating is wildly inconsistent and its ruining the league.

Watch the game next time. The Bucks intentionally fouled Lebron a **** ton at the end of the game.

Stop posting especially if you didnt watch the game.
Love was injured.

Kyrie has a harder time getting open. Lebron can just stand ground and catch the ball.

Again, watch the ****ing game next time. The Bucks were leaving Lebron more open than Kyrie, and Love wasn't even in the game for 10 of the 12 fta's that Lebron took at the end.

2:10 left in the game, Lebron took 12 ft's after that.

We all know what the haters would have been spewing if Lebron missed most of those FTs or didn't take them. unclutch, blah blah, etc. he sucks dick, blah.

a playoff 15 ppg scorer on 45% fg? Thats easily replaceable, not much different from Lamar Odom

game was close till the end. your post shows you didn't watch the game at all.

but anyway, Lebron had a shitty game. i was actually wishing for Blatt to take him out at the 3rd. he was missing everything and he kept turning the ball over. it was like he ate a whole turkey at thanksgiving and it hasn't been digested yet. he sucked balls real bad. it was Kyrie and Love who carried the Cavs all game long. Lebron only closed it out at the end.

If you gave Kobe 18 more FTs, he would have most likely had a 25/5/13 game at minimum..

He took only 15 shots and scored 26 points. He got 1.73 points per shot. Very efficient game from him. Still the best scorer even though he is sharing the ball with Love and Irving. :pimp:

Love & Irving both had a better game. Irving needed 15 FGA & 10 FTA to score 28, Love 16 FGA & 5 FTA to score 27.

No. Just like when he was in Miami i didn't want him or Wade take the end of game FT's, as Bosh & Ray Allen were far more reliable.

You try and get your best ft shooters open at the end of a close game, not your biggest star. If you are a star that consistently shoots 80%+ then yeh, you're entitled to take them, but if you're an inconsistent ft shooter like Bron or Wade then you are lowering your odds by putting them on the line.

Not really. Love scored 1.68 points per shot, and Lebron 1.73.
Irving scored more per shot, but Lebron also had 10 assists.
Lebron was more efficient and set up more points. :pimp:

@Dresta

problem was, they were guarding Irving and leaving Bron open so he would be the one taking the free throws.

clearly the Bucks wanted Lebron to take the free throws. they were praying his 70% ft shooting would let him miss a couple. he did miss two.

Lebron had a FG% of 40 and a TS% of 54 for the game.

Why exactly is that thread worthy ? Those numbers aren't even that bad, hell they are both better than Kobe's current season averages.

He only had taken 11 free throws up until the last few minutes of the game. I remember this specifically, because i turned the game off when there was like 41 seconds left and he was at the foul line shooting his 12th and 13th free throw and they had his ft stats up as 6/11 and the commentators (it was a cleveland broadcast i believe) were talking about him having a bad day at the foul line.

Anyway, 15 shots plus about 11 trips to the line equals 26 true shots. And he scored 26 points so that equates to 1 point per true shot or a .50 TS% which isn't bad.

Lebron had just "one of those nights", where bad luck was trailing, couldnt even make layups, he was frustrated to hell..... he had his passing tho the guys kept it close so he could put it away with those FTs at the clutch, they kept fouling/sending him to the line deliberately afterall.....
