cause he got a small dick
Not really a contest dunker. And now the contest is irrelevant so he definitely wont do it.
Because he didn't want to...
Hasn't this been discussed to death?

His dunks aren't creative or artistic.
I still wonder how the hell Blake Griffin won it by "jumping" over a car. Really shows how the contest's standards have fallen.

Because he cares more about his image than his fans. He was too worried about losing to a scrub who can pull off pretty dunks when he should have realised it's an event that's all about fun and entertainment.

Don't think he would've lived up to the insane expectations people would've built up had he entered. He's just not a contest dunker like a Vince, a J-rich, a Dominique, the way the hype would've suggested..his in-game dunks can be sick, but even then there's not too much variation.
I still think he should've done it just to shut everyone up..he could've done a FT line dunk, that two handed reverse windmill thing, etc.

That's the simple answer...unfortunately simplicity doesn't fit the agenda.

I always wondered how bad it would it hurt to jam a finger on a rim
He should've done it back in 2009 or 2010. His vert was disgusting those years

He is a p.ussy but I can see his side: If he enters and wins he did nothing but his obligation, if he enters and loses or wins in an unconvincing way all hell breaks lose.
It's a lose lose situation. He should've done it when he was younger. Thought I think that after he said he would enter, he should've entered anyway.

Growing up, he was a Bulls, Yankees, and Cowboys fan.

Fear of failure.
Some people thrive in these situations.
Some don't.
