Roy Jones Jr vs. dariusz michalczewski - The super fight that didn't happen

They were two of the best light heavyweight in the late 1990's and early 2000's. Dariusz Michalczewski also both the same opponents of Roy Jones until he got robbed in the Julio Cesar Gonzales fight. He out landed JCG and won many rounds.

The main reason this fight didn't happen. RJJ don't want to fight in europe while DW don't want to fight in the US.

They both duck each other. Roy never gave boxing fans the chance to see how great he was because he miss mandatory a lot of good names in his prime. He took little risk and that is why boxing fans does not hold him in high regard as far as his ATG status . I think he could have beaten all of them including Darius. Darius has a good jab and pack a punch but he's too stiff for someone as fast as Roy.

Worse was Darius. He was getting pampered in Germany making money with all those sacrificial lambs . By the time the late Julio Gonzalez got into him, he was already in the decline as he was getting outboxed by Harmon prior to the fight. And you can't call that robbery, not in his adapted hometown and not Germany out of all place where homecookin is common.
