He's not awful but on paper he does not compliment Kobe's game because he need the ball to be effective. But he will bring defense and playmaking ability to the Lakers which we have not seen for a long time since young Fish. I dunno if the Lakers are willing to give up the first round pick from Houston just to get him. I don't think they should do it in rebuilding period. I am just hoping that Lakers just keep losing so we can keep the top 5 pick next year and still have that cap room for max type of player.

Lakers aren't getting that top 5 pick if Kobe stays healthy. No sense rooting for the Lakers to lose imo. I was all about it like you, but Kobe looks too damn good.
