Kobe at 34:
27/6/6 on 46/32/84, playing with a constantly injured team with constantly changing lineups vs a tougher strength of schedule. 7th seed in the West.
LeBron at 29 (now):
25/6/7 on 47/36/77, playing with a full strength team vs an easier strength of schedule. 5th seed in the East at the moment.

Kobe singlehandedly carried the Lakers to the 8th seed and into the playoffs. He sacrificed himself for the greater good of his team.

*11th seed in the West.
The officiating in the second half of that season was absolutely brutal...
And we still have retards prancing around acting like officials have absolutely zero incentives for rigging regular season games so it's not possible.
That being said LeBrons career up to this point is basically an asterisk, so in this context that argument still works well in Kobe's favor.

They both don't play defense, so Kobe in this instance. It's still early December though.

And LeBron bailing on Miami was basically an admission that he can't get the job done anymore and needs to be surrounded by just short of the Eastern Conference all star team to compete.
Funny enough, the all star starters in the East this year will basically just be LeBron and friends :oldlol:

Wade

Sorry, just looked at 8 seed and assumed Russ had the Lakers' current record mixed up.
You know, since the Lakers were actually the 7th seed.
It's Kobe though.

LeBron literally just traded out old all stars for younger ones
It's crazy though, if anyone in the league viewed him as having any sort of loyalty and thought he was going to stay, Miami could have easily gotten some good players on board. Gasol, Ariza, etc...
Classic LeBron though, bailing as soon as the going gets tough.

Most of my threads as of late haven't had anything to do with LeBron but I haven't seen you in them.
My interactions with you on ISH only come when I make a LeBron thread. Needless to say we haven't talked in a while and I missed the friendship and decided to make this thread

Jode Meeks was better than both last year .. LOL.. Not too hard to put up numbers on a DANTONI TEAM..
Who is better
2nd year Lebron James:
27/7/7 on 47%
or
prime 26 year old Kobe
27/6/6 on 43%

so will thunder not be in the playoffs no matter what happens ? i am just using your logic here because according to you the regular season is over when we haven't yet started voting for all stars.
are you an idiot or just too young?

that team was loaded with talent... Got into the playoffs with league giving them 40-50 free throws a game TO HELP THEM WIN..
