After tonights game is factored Lebron's efficiency will drop and Kyrie's will jump. Should Kyrie get more touches to shoot, and/or become the teams number one scorer?

No.
Why not? Don't you want the Cavs to score the most efficient way possible?

He should take more shots, but only when he's playing in the system

If he gets his assist numbers up sure. By right now he scores in a tunnel vision mode and it works for him. Keep it that way if it is working.

Kyrie should be the closer. But he has poor court vision. The ball should be in Lebron's hands more than Kyrie until crunch time.

The ball should go to the hot hand.
By the way, that lineup with Kyrie alone and basically begged to chuck is terrible. Blatt needs to stop that shit. Basically the Cavs starters last year.

Irving is the only player in the league who can score 37 points on 66% shooting + game clincher and get bashed for "tunnel vision" and 2 assists.
PSA to you morons. It is called smart basketball. Shoot the ball with the hot hands instead of passing to Thompson or LeBron for the brick. No one on the Cavs shot better than 50% FG.

Don't take this the wrong way but I have trouble taking the opinion of a recent "Heat fan" seriously. You jumped ship because of one player, Lebron. You're going to sit here and slam Cavs coaches and teammates... on a night Lebron almost cost us the game? Seriously? Kyrie secured tonights win in spite of Lebron's awful shot jacking show some respect.

I think he should. It isn't as if Lebron isn't getting his stats he has a shot at having a great assist year and if he sticks with that role he will actually be making his team mates better this time around.

I wasnt bashing him. I said it works for him and the team.
The Cavs worst lineup is when they try to make him play "point guard" with Varejao, Thompson, and Dion. End that shit.

I said that lineup is terrible and it is. Go check the stats for yourself. It offers nothing on offense or defense. And I never suggested Kyrie didnt play great tonight, if you stopped trolling and posted something coherent you'd see that.

Scoring when it's needed is perfectly fine, like tonight. But don't ignore those games earlier on where he wasn't distributing while scoring a bunch, and they were losing.

Lebron is a bit of a passenger on this team, not even the same player anymore and the hairline is getting into old man territory.
Kyrie must have a sore back carrying this HGH using nancy boy.
I say give Irving more shots

This is the Wade-Lebron situation in 2011
Lebron needs to let Kyrie be the man in order for this team to succeed.

Huh? 19 pts, 12 dimes ... he's being the team's floor general playing the PG position that Kyrie should be doing naturally. Irving has poor court vision, and is a black hole offensively. Cavs are finding their groove with Kyrie being their scorer, and James running the offense.

Yes because he should let the 21 year old who has never played in a playoff game to be the man in order to achieve the most success. At least w/ wade you had a vet who already lead a team to championship, not to mention 11 wade was MUCH better than current kyrie and a top 5 player whereas kyrie probably isn't even a top 5 pg...

In no way does Kyrie need more touches.
More defence is a yes.
But looks like Cavs have found some kind of chemistry now. They shoould only get better, and we should expect them to.

Sure. LeBron's role should be the pg and Kyrie as the #1 scorer.

Kyrie should keep the same amount of touches. Lebron should shoot less while Love gets more
I think so, Lebron will always find a way to get his numbers and be productive. For the Cavs it would be good if Kyrie could shoot some more.

cavaliersftw you are just yukky.
always hatnig lebron praising chuckbe.
lebron will bring the cavs the title, then he will go and kyrie and your cleveland suckers will one more time disappear and become unimportant, like they were before james was drafted and after james left for miami

lebron should just leave and let kyrie and dion take all the shots they want. but with a losing record.

I like the way we look overall lately. 9 out of our last 11 I think?
As for Kyrie, he's always been a great shooter, regardless of what the haters have had to say about him the past year or so.
One thing I have noticed is that Lebron tends to shoot the technical fouls, even when Kyrie is on the floor. This I don't understand. Kyrie is a much better FT shooter, and has proven himself to be super-clutch.

It's to jump start Lebron into a shooting rhythm and give him more confidence. Or pad stats lol jk...Let's say they are investing a little bit more into the a player who can change the game completely when hot than to get an almost guarantee 1-point with Kyrie shooting the technical.

I guess that makes sense, but it bugs me almost as much as the 3-guard lineup we still insist on running here and there; when we have Kyrie, Dion, and Delly all out there at the same time.

That is odd to me as well. Lebron rarely took technical FTs while in Miami. I'm thinking that if the Cavs make it to the playoffs, whoever is the best FT shooter on the court will start taking them.

Lol this thread is so fail, Lebron will always be a more efficient scorer than Kyrie.
Plus, Lebron only takes the technical free throw, when he's completely out of rhythm

Cavs are 8-2 in their last 10 and the big 3 are finally starting to gel. Why would they change what they are doing?

I believe this thread is from a couple weeks ago. Anyway, despite going through a minor shooting slump, I think Kyrie is playing very well. He's not forcing the issue and playing within the offense. There are probably more ways they can use him offensively and take advantage of his ridiculous skillset, but that doesn't appear to be where the team is in terms of its growth. I'm sure they'll get to that eventually.
Right now, the goals seem to be getting LeBron going and defining exactly what his role is going to be in the offense and making sure Love gets his shots. And I'm fine with that for the moment. Kyrie has shown that he is very versatile, so he'll continue to get good looks regardless what kind of offense they're implementing. He's become pretty deadly both with the ball and off of it. He looks like an excellent compliment to LeBron.
As for the technical free throws, LeBron should probably never take them, but he has been taking nearly all of them. When he's on the floor with Kyrie, Miller, Harris, Jones, Love, etc. there's no reason for it. There are too many shooters on this team to justify it. And, how about getting those guys into a good rhythm occasionally by giving them a gimme? It's not all about LeBron, believe it or not.
