Because Tommy is old and certifiably out of his mind and cares not one single solitary shit about anything. What I hate is that his insanity brings down people's regard for Mike Gorman, which is bullshit. Mike Gorman is fantastic and totally gives credit where its due, calls the game exactly the way it goes down and is a true pro.

Tommy, at this point, is a shtick...but he's Tommy and he's a lifelong Celtic legend, so they franchise is going to let him sit there pretty much until he croaks or quits. This sucks because Cedric Maxwell or Brian Scalabrine are both good in the color commentary seat and should be in there instead of Tommy.
