- :43 working in the highpost - fantastic pass for an easy deuce
- that first step @ 1:48 and nifty pass to love for a layup
- 1:55 more from the highpost. strong finish like only lebron can
- great fake, and drive to the paint for a swift pass to marion for the score
- 3:01 textbook, no-look from lebron. making a basic pass into a highlight
- 4:09 jab, stepback jumper to seal the game

i have said repeatedly that i wanted to see lebron in the post - and he's looked solid from there all season. after this performance tonight, if he can continue being teams' primary playmaker, i believe that he can still play exceptional ball later in his career. if he is able to create shots for his teammates and CONSISTENTLY hit jumpers - that is exactly how you extend your career, irregardless of athleticism.

Visible, and dramatic regression in athleticism from just 6 months ago. 10% FG efficiency drop from just last season. He's distributing the ball well, but he's struggling to score in the half court. And no more padded FG% due to easy transition fast break points from a superior turnover producing defense in Miami.

meh, he's shooting ~57%TS which is first three-peat jordan efficiency. that will likely go up as the season progresses and he gets adjusted to his team.

i think the fact his jumpshot and passing from the post looks great, suggests that he will be ELITE for many more seasons to come.

I'm talking about a STAGGERING drop off in FG%. I don't care about TS which includes un-guarded field goal attempts. That kind of huge drop off is indicative of his now inability to finish at the rim.

Like I said, a shocking drop off in athleticism from June as the correlation. His half court offense as a result hasn't looked as polish as it did in 2013, and 2014.

His passing has looked phenomenal however, even if at times his handle has been sloppy. Along with some questionable decision making. Someone had to play PG, and it certainly isn't Kyrie. Who is a SG trapped in a PGs body.

I feel like the athleticism is not so much natural but more he didn't keep as much in shape as he used to via workouts, etc

TS% >>> FG% which takes into account your TOTAL scoring efficiency, including the freethrows you are rewarded when a player inadvertently fouls you on-ball.

his post game and jumper look better than ever. he's got all the fundamentals down ATM, evidenced with the superb passing and low turnovers in the post - and of course, the cavs W/L percentage since he's become their #1 playmaker

Getting the foul line is not exclusive to a player's ability or skill to draw fouls.

Only 3 guys showed up, no DeRozan, horrible PnR D, gambling, getting blown by... perhaps the worst loss of the season.

realistically, a player that draw fouls on a consistent basis (the lebron, durant and westbrook's) deserve, say, 8 of 10 of their fta. of course there are bad calls, but they aren't the NORM.

of course, TS% also includes your 3PT shooting, adjusting for the extra point.

You're also ignoring an entirely different team and system after being with the same core for 4 years. The Cavs are still trying to figure things out, and won't have it figured out for quite some time yet.

Kyrie, Love, Lebron, will all take turns picking up scoring slack while they work shit out.

I've watched every Cav game so far, and it is clear Lebron's athleticism has declined significantly. Missing otherwise routine shot's he would have normally made. However, I see a slight improvement in his ability to get off the ground, and 'beat' his defender off the dribble. Lebron hasn't really been able to outspeed anyone since 2009, but the combination of speed and strength was devastating.

Even if this decline is permanent, his shooting around the rim should improve with him adjusting his shot selection accordingly, and his jumper should also improve when he get's more lift later on in the season.

Just no bounce to his game. He looks flat footed when he puts it on the floor and has absolutely no lift when he gets inside. Pretty much never finishes a layup off self created drives. Credit to him for putting up the stat line he has so far this season, but Cleveland is simply not winning a championship barring a major improvement in LeBron's ability. WTF happened in like 4 months?

He looks gased, that weight loss / diet didnt do him good it seems, not at the moment at least, takes time for body to get used to.

His scoring and Fg% are due to a combo of Playing PG which is keeping him too far out on the perimeter instead of more high post and low block like Miami had him and there is clearly something wrong with him (his back) because he's missing a ton of layups that he never misses. I think he's he'll fix that up as the season goes on when they start realizing his sweet spots.

LeBron is clearly their pg and playmaker now. And it seems to work for them and lebron's transition to father time. I think lebron hasn't really lost his athleticism though. its more about his back which is affecting his lift. His jumpshot so far has looked flat.

Maybe the low carb thing was a bad idea. Could have easily lost body weight over summer without going low carb.
