well what are you going to school for?!Political Science, although i'm not sure what to narrow my interests to just yet. Law or technology are two of em though
the best job for you is the one that gives your resume a boost when you apply for a real job after college. you're better off doing an internship in the field that you're interested in. something relevant to your career.
but if you wait tables or bartend, hopefully, you have a damn good GPA, and you can tell the story to your future employer of how you put yourself through school by working your ass off while still pulling it off. that interview bullshit...

Babysitter, Lifeguard and Ice Cream Scooper are on the top of the list for part-time jobs or summer jobs. 2 case studies to prove that college students should study first and then look for a part-time or full-time job:
The effects of doing part‐time jobs on college student academic performance by Hongyu Wang and Miosi Kong from the University of Macau
Working college students’ profile - a case study by Mihaela Rotaru from the Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu
I've heard modern propagandists hire young adults to form trolls in the propagandas they run through social media and they'd get good payouts.

Bartending is the worst. Bad workplace habits, long nights, picking up shifts. Do a job that gives you ample time for studies and possibly a sweet discount. Also flexibility to take time off. Retail gives you all that.

Working at the cinemas was the best job i will ever have. Great pay (in Australia) busy for an hour then 2 hours of nothing. Good social group of people, plus free movies.
My workplace was super flexible with swapping shifts around as well.
