Big picture: There appears to be a buildup of civil unrest. Some of that civil unrest erupted due to that particular event. Civil unrest as far as I'm aware is never just the fault of civilians in said state of unrest. So this civil unrest should be looked at and attempted to be addressed by any powers that be.

Racism in general needs to be addressed regardless of where it's coming from socioeconomically. Apologist shit like "they're just angry" is weak, and offers no solutions. Any acts of violence need to be addressed.
