if this team stays healthy, do they have any chance of doing it? they have no big weakness at least for the regular season.

They haven't been 100% healthy all season(Lee).

I hope GSW gets the #1 seed. I'd feel more comfortable with the Clips playing them without homecourt advantage than I would the Grizz or Spurs.

The odds are overwhelmingly against it,...but you never know. I never thought that the '96 Bulls would steamroll the NBA to the tune of a 72-10 record, either.

Every season a team gets off to a hot start this question is asked.

Understand this--the 1995-1996 Bulls only lost 3 games by February 1996. They lost 7 games the rest of the regular season.

It's a long season, fellas. If the Warriors have 3 losses or less by February, then we can talk.

Lol people said the exact same thing about the Pacers last year when they're record was something like 25-5. Everybody was saying Paul George was going to win MVP and Roy Hibbert was a lock for DPOY, and the Pacers were guaranteed to win at least 60 games. Look how that turned out.

I'm not saying Stephen Curry can't win MVP, he actually looks like has a good chance to, and the Warriors do have a nice possibility to get to the 60 win mark but some of you guys start saying crazy things way too early :lol

:confusedshrug:

I could be wrong, but I like the match-ups better. Memphis is a really bad match-up for us (and a lot of other teams). Spurs are iffy, I might actually prefer to play them rather than you guys.

But Memphis and OKC are the toughest match-ups for us out West.

Steep odds man. That's just such an incredibly difficult pace of winning to sustain.

Not a chance in hell. I'll leave this forum forever if they do srs. I'm positive that doesn't happen. They barely beat the Blazers on some really lucky plays at the end when Portland was in control.

If they had a Eastern Conference like schedule anything is possible (but 99% chance no) but highly unlikely in the West...............no

It would be funny if they break the Bulls record and then proceed to get dumped out of the playoffs.

This "if they played in the East" garbage needs to stop.

The 2013 Miami Heat would destroy the Warriors from this year, if not sweep them, went on a historic 27 game winning streak, and only went 66-16.

0 chance Warriors do it anywhere except for D-League.

Last 2 playoffs series were against Spurs and Clippers. They choke? they were never favorite to win neither of those series. They brought the Spurs to 6 games and almost upset the Clippers pushing that stacked roster to 7 games.

Who's to say the reverse isn't possible; they lose a bunch now and keep the losses to a minimum near the end of the season?

Clippers would get oblitterated by this team.
If LAC won 1 game against them in the PO, I'd consider that a good outcome for the clippers.

The difference is the warriors play defense way better then the Blazers and with the Pavers their offense was not too notch. Warriors have both those things and doesn't have the chemistry/locker room problems pacers had. The only thing that can impede them is health.

No more than 64. My Cs started 29-3 in 2007. Nowhere close to 70.

And isnt GSWs last 8 games or something, NONE of those teams had a winning record? Saw it on inside the NBA. Highest win percentage team they beat in the last few weeks were NOLA at 8-8 they 8-9 after the gsw game... honestly think theyll find a way to end the season with more than 20 losses

This team is great but will go nowhere near 70.

I expect them to go on the inevitable short skid soon.

Which team would want #1 seed in the West and get probably OKC (playing well) in the first round? OKC only has to make up 10 wins/losses to catch PHX (16 to catch DAL). No team these days is gonna chase 72-10. They'll rest their players once home court is secured.

Agreed 100%. A coach might even get fired if he were to lose a key player to a season-ending injury in a late season meaningless game.

I honestly don't see a team ever going 73-9 no matter how stacked they are. We'll probably never see a team more stacked than the 90s Bulls, although the current Cavs and 2010-14 Heat came very close to that. And even if we do see a team more stacked, the era wont be weak enough for it to happen like it was in the 90s.

I dont think anyone really marks gsw on their calender. They're known as a good team but not considered a championship contender just yet. They have the ability but teams are still underestimating them

Ok ... so let me get this straight, we have ISHiots saying:

- Steph Curry is MVP and it's still early December of the 2014 - 2015 season?

- Steph Curry this season is MAJESTICALLY on another level all together from D. Rose in 2011, eben though their raw stats are the exact same?

- And now, we have predictions, or even hypothesizing the 2015 Warrior will win more games than the '96 Bulls?

You fellas have gone full retard. The type of overzealous kids who pre nut their pants before even making out with a chick. My goodness.

I didn't judge GSW fans, or Steph Curry fans ... WTF, I said over zealous idiots on ISH. Your dumb ass obviously can't read, or comprehend.

U mad because Rose will never be elite again?
Nah. I've been gearing up for over 2 years now, I'm well past the acceptance stage Derrick won't be the same on the trajectory he was on since he won MVP.

If he proves me wrong, that's great.

But I mean at the end of the day, I was privileged enough to watch the greatest player of all-time from '89 - '98 play for my favorite franchise. So any other great player that comes through Chi-Town is just icing on the cake.

Seriously one of the dumbest threads I've ever seen on this board, which is really saying something. A team has one 70 games in a season ONCE in NBA history. Russell's Celtics never did it, same with all time great stacked teams like the '87 Lakers & '86 Celtics. You really think this Warriors team is going to accomplish something only one other team has EVER done, in their conference no less?
