I'd imagine it would be f.cking scary.

Would like to hear the thoughts from someone who has experienced It? What went through your Head?

Two when I first moved to Brisbane.

Australia has the highest rates in the world, I believe, and in WA it's pretty common apparently as the tribes don't believe in private property there.

Out here it's more just kids wanting to get some money or items to pawn off. In the US it becomes violent and dangerous as all hell with the guns and all.

What I meant was, did you encounter the intruder face to Face? Or knew The intruder was in your house while being Robbed?

The two in Brisbane, what Happened?

It was in a shitty share house in Highgate Hill (apparently it happens in the area frequently) and one of the housemates saw one of the burglars on his escape route.

All I had stolen was a money clip.

If this was back in LA I would be terrified for my life and sell the home. In Australia it's not a big deal at all.

Im so nba'd out

Yeah, still a bit unsettling I'm sure.

Was hoping to hear a few stories from the American guys where guns might of been involved.

yeah I made sure to move the following week.

I would never own a house unless it was in some secluded/gated community. With google and social media anyone can access your home, stake you out, and target you with ease.

I got jacked in begginning of 2002.

Three dudes in ski masks kicked down door guns pointed at me, my two roommates and my roommates girlfriend. We were taking knife hits in kitchen.

One of them took me downstairs with a gun to my head.

In all honesty , that dudes voice was shaky. He seemed very scared. It takes a lot of balls to do what they were doing. He was definitely a little scared. I had a gun to my face years earlier. Honestly I wasn't to scared.

Came back upstairs they had my two roommates in the ground in their stomachs, hands and ankles duck taped. They were definetley shook. To this day I get on my homie Cus he was crying like a baby.

My roommates girl friend had her hands on the side of her face duct taped and they taped around her eyes so she couldn't see. She was hysterical and instinctly scooted to the corner of living room.

They took a knife out of the stove and burned one of my roommates on the back.

I gave them all my shit and money. I remember just telling them to please leave this is everything. They were tearing up the house. My homie was on his way over and missed the whole thing by bout 5 minutes.

I'm thankful they left before he got there. If he woulda knocked on the door in the middle of it, woooo. Someone woulda got hurt or even worse.

in college lived with 2 other guys in a really shitty neighborhood. One night we are all chilling and we hear some like hammering noises at the back door.

My roomie grabbed a baseball bat and me and the other one had knives and all waited by the backdoor. Eventually it stopped. We waited a bit and somebody had tried to chisel out the lock on our backdoor.

We lived near a lot of bums so i'm sure that's what it was. I once woke up to a homeless dude just hanging out on my porch at 9am drinking a tall boy. :oldlol:

Have fun getting murdered when a criminal who has an illegally obtained gun (crazy how that can happen right?) breaks in. If you had your own gun you might have a chance.

My family was left my house the day before. Wont get into details because i hate remembering it but they saw my mom downstairs and killed her. The only good thing that came from that was they didnt go up since my dad, bro, sis and her kid were all asleep.

I know this isn't really related to the topic too much but I still feel like sharing this.

My friend was a big time drug dealer , and the cops raided his house looking for the drugs , I went to my friends house while his house was getting searched for drugs and the police saw me but they knew I needed him for something basketball related so they let me go in and talk to him , I went in and he quickly told me where the weed was and I took the weed and left the house without letting a cop see, and as I was leaving a cop stopped me , I was like holy shit if they search me im ****ed , at least 10-20 years in jail. They asked me a few questions but didn't search me. My friend ended up not getting caught with the weed because I took it out of his house but damn.

Me = Stephen Jackson , That story^ actually happened with Stephen Jackson. I was wowed by it.
