Took him a while to finally cave in and do the obvious.

Lin as a combo guard off the bench gives him more leeway as a scoring point guard. So not a bad move.

Davis is younger and the Lakers should give him minutes to develop.

Next year, the Lakers could have Okafor, Randle and Davis at the bigs with a ton of cap space to sign some other players.
