They won't.
I think you're finally giving in to the fact Hawks are a good team this year. You will admit it one day. You are a very pessimistic Hawks fan, but you're still a Hawks fan. I love you.

The Hawks are about to hit a 12 gm schedule that will put them 4-6 in the standings somewhere.

It is a tough schedule, but we aren't the same team we were last year. You thought we were going to lose 3 outta 4 games on our 4 games in 5 days stretch, but we won 3 outta 4 instead.

We beat Bulls, Cavs, and Clippers.
We don't match up well against Clippers or Rockets at all.

Hawks are on course to win their sixth straight. Whether ISH wants to admit it or not, they are a very good team. They could win the east.

We have Pacers Sixers and the Magic twice. We could be 17-6 before hitting any resistance.
we'll cross that bridge when we get there
in the year 2500
just playin that would be the knicks

This year's Hawks remind me of my Spurs a little bit. Spurs east.

Lionell Hollins himself said we are a young version of the Spurs.

Anyone that isn't the Cavaliers or Bulls winning the East would have been a surprise, considering the preseason rankings.
But then again, it is the East. It's an overall weak conference with no clear cut best team at the moment.
