Guys who were undersized or possibly oversized, although thats more rare. Barkley immediately comes to mind, as does Ben Wallace. You could argue KD is "out of position" as a SF I suppose.

"Most undersized and oversized players at their position" should have been the thread title. No way in hell is Durant playing out of position. What position do you even think he should be playing?

Ralph Sampson was a 7'4 center who was the power forward of the 80's twin towers but wanted to play like a point guard.

Didnt Durant play at SG as a rookie?
I think Pop played Robert Horry at C a few times.
Kendrick Perkins has been starting at C the last few years even tho his natural position is glued to a d-league bench.

Darko. Hard to figure out how he should have been playing.
Kwame Brown he shouldn't have been playing.

Bob Cousy
He should have played center but the coaches back then thought he was a mismatch for smaller point guards.

6'7 DuJuan Blair at C. Malik Rose was also considered undersized, especially for someone who could guard Shaq respectably.
Rodman too. Not on an all time scale for his position, but for his rebounding ability.

Tyson Chandler started his career as a small forward. Only one that came close to that was barge at sf, but at least he has some perimeter skills.
Lebron: Starts as SF, built like a PF and plays PG.

Guys, out of position is different than undersized. A lot of the guys being mentioned are undersized, but are at their best position based on their skill set. Not the most out of position player ever, but I feel like Al Horford should get a mention here.

Boris Diaw basically went from being a SG in ATL to being a C in PHO, which I remember thinking was really weird, but it actually worked out quite nicely.

Wes Unseld. Smaller than Ben Wallace and much better.

Adrian Dantley was a center in his head offensively, had the best moves on the deep block (like Shaq close for whole weeks at a time), and could score on anybody. Even had dominant center FG% for four years he averaged 30ppg (exactly) on 57%. But he was only 6'5 inches. For 7 years he had similar numbers and manned the paint like that.
