He is. I would trust rondo to run a championship caliber team more than most PG's in the league.

Both might be true. His shooting has become a large negative but on the flip side what other pg could come close to 8 rebounds per game? I've stopped arguing about where he ranks among guards because I don't know.

There was an obvious blown charge call on Rondo earlier in the game. Not to mention Smart got fouled trying to tie the game at the end of the 4th and they didn't call it. The officiating hasn't been lopsided at all.

He's great at beating his man off the dribble but he was more effective than he would normally be because the Cs are bad at protecting the rim and got even worse when Olynyk fouled out. Brandon Bass was the lone big man at the end. He's 6'8.

It's the panic that leads him to do that. Without that sense of urgency, he doesn't put 100% effort in. It's hard to put in 100% effort every play, it's taxing. Also, he doesn't usually need to make something happen like that in the middle of games. I remember when he did this in that OT or 2 OT (don't remember) loss to the Spurs last year. At least we won this one.
