:wtf:

not sure where that mentality is coming from. cruises are 72 hours parties for people in their 20's.

Not the ones I've been on; mostly families and old people.

All you can eat though.

Cruises are awesome for the following reasons: R & R, free food, don't have to drive home drunk just gotta stumble to your room, gambling (poker, roulette, etc), and all the hot chicks end up in the 'night club' rooms every night so you should too. Not to mention getting off the boat and having fun, wherever you're going.

I've never been compelled to side with a cruise over a resort. I prefer the freedom of travelling on land wherever I go. However, I wouldn't mind doing something unique like an Alaskan cruise or something of the sort.

Bump this thread when you get back and let us know your review.

Don't see why anyone would pay money to be holed up on a boat tbh. I'd just end up wasting loads of money trying to pretend i was somewhere else.

To me being on a cruise is like being stuck in a New Jersey shopping mall, only being let out occasionally to hang on a beach with people I would never associate with. I've only been on Norwegian, so I don't have a perspective on other lines, but I have no desire to cruise any time soon.

As an aside: News reports have indicated that some ISIS recruits are traveling to the Middle East on cruise ships. Stephen Colbert said that if they don't already have a deep hatred for Western culture just wait till they've had 14 days of dinner theater.

Cruises are nice if you go with your family. You're basically stuck on the ship all the time so you get to spend family time together.

But I prefer to be able to explore a new place, walk around, see things. Cruises dont really provide that.

Norwegian is the cruise line i booked.

Also for the rest, i am 24 about to be 25 in a week. I am going with my girlfriend and 4 other friends. But i guess it'll be funner if i were single and being able to pick up drunk college girls/hoes.

Anyway, the cruise makes 3 stops in 3 places in central/south america.
