I think you're reading into it too much.

Curry and the players never had a problem with Jackson, it was, like Lacob said, the fact that the FO and ownership didn't like the guy, probably in large part because his religious beliefs clashed with a lot of what they believed in.

All in all no big deal, I don't have a problem with Curry basically telling Lacob to shut up about ragging on Jackson. The whole deal is over now, no need to keep talking shit at luncheons about the guy now that you've fired him.

not really talking about Curry tho.... if they didn't like Jackson, why apologize for saying that?
And if Mark believes what he believes, let Jackson stand up for that, too. He's a man with free speech and free will and all these "groups" that swarm like flies need his freedoms rammed right straight down their throats.

Barkley is just about the only man left in basketball and that's exactly why he is admired and has staying power.
