Which one of these two do you think will be the better individual basketball player over the course of their careers? Project 3, 5, 10+ years into the future. Which of these top 2 picks will be better?

Wiggins is so raw.

Parker blows him out of the water right now.

Time will tell, but Parker has the lead.

Hmm gotta pick Parker for now. Wiggins is a Rudy Gay type player while Jabari can be Carmelo. And I dont mean that as insults.

I like the Carmelo comparison but something that goes underrated about Jabari's game is his playmaking ability. I don't know what the deal was at Duke, but he showed some great passing instincts at Simeon and he's shown a lot of unselfishness and playmaking skill in recent weeks with us. That's where I think he separates himself from the Melo comparison..Kidd made a comparison that will probably make most scoff, but he said Jabari reminded him a lot of Grant Hill in his willingness to not only attack the basket relentlessly, but also his willingness to make the right play when he's there. Obviously he's not gonna be Hill, but points out the unique skill set he's building on.

We'll see its too early to tell. Funny enough Jabari was the nba rookie who was projected to be UNLEASHED and the exact opposite has occurred. He plays on a "good" team and isnt allowed to chuck. Quick google search of Jabari Parker and the headlines are about how much he doesnt play. Jason Kidd obviously wants to win games and isnt worried about Draft Picks. People are complaining, but it might be good for Jabari. Not developing losing habits at a young age. But it could slow his growth.

I take option C) Joel Embiid

Seriously, it may be early days but this rookie class has been a bit disappointing thus far.

This. :applause:

Anyhow, between the two, hard to tell. Jabari has obviously been better so far, but no way of projecting what either will be going forward.

Wiggins

I think Parker's ceiling is Glenn Robinson.

Elfrid Payton is the guy who will end up being the best of this year's rookie class

I'd take Wiggins. Wiggins is as raw as can be but has all the tools. It's a little worrying that he's never showed an aggressive style and figured going to Minnesota would have forced his hand a little bit. Parker on the other hand has a smooth set of skills but from the little I've seen it's not translating as much as everyone anticipated atleast so far.

Wiggins is averaging 11/3/1 on 38/42/68. Parker 12/6/2 on 49/25/69. Parker has been much better, playing on a more competitive team but the fact that's it's this close already I'd take the risk in Wiggins because of how much room he has to grow.

I've been disappointed with Parker tho. I really thought he was going to have a Melo like impact right out of the gate but that was probably unfair.

I'm going to stick my d!ck on the line and say 20Jabstep Parker.
He will end up being a more athletic Paul Pierce when it's all said and done. Retires as the 3rd greatest Buck of all time, makes smart investments for his future and lives happily ever after.
