$100 for food and eating out a month?

$325 for housing?

I think you're food estimate is severely low.

Mine is closer to $100 a week than a month, and I don't even eat out much because it was getting too expensive.

Everything I put up there is legit. My food expenses might be higher but it's all split with my gf so I'd have to keep track for a couple months.

We live in a small 1 bedroom apartment, attached to our landlord's house. Not sure on the square feet, it's small but it works. It's located in Oneonta, NY.

I use Pageplus prepaid cell service, its under Verizon's network. I'm on the 12 plan, $12 for 250 texts, 250 mins and 10mb of data.

Any other comments?

you must not use your phone very much ha. Kudos for you on that, I would max out your plan in under a week.

Paying for data on phones is one of the biggest scams around, especially when there is free WIFI access all around and most people are paying for internet access at their homes. I'm on my laptop enough, I've never felt the need to surf the web on my phone.

home cooking?

:confusedshrug:

I eat between 6-8 times a day everyday, and i spend less than 40 dollars a week on groceries. Pretty sure a normal person only really needs half of that a week, if they want to indulge on chips and ice cream as well.

I spent $40 on food a week and that's not including investments like buying bulk products on the cheap for future meals. I usually opted for cheaper choices like fattier minced beef too. Don't know how OP spends $100 a month. Gonna have to see a shopping receipt from him.

I'm very young and although I am a smart person, I love spending a lot of money on nice clothes and other items. My rolex alone costs me $1,000 a month lol. My school loans, car, food and I take care of my family too. And I'm Albanian as well. :)

I am currently making roughly $400 a week working in a school and residential setting with autistic students. I have been at my current job since November of 2013, before that I was subbing in schools and not making much.

So in theory I should be saving about $800 a month. Once again, some of my estimates may be low, I wouldn't be surprised if I spend more on food but everything else should be accurate. I have about $6000 saved.

I pay $750 for a 2 bed 1 1/2 bath place. I recently moved, where I used to live that would have cost over $1000 easily. I'm cheap. I don't spend much at all on myself. Not a big eater but still $100 a month is too little for food.

Lets see...

Rent: 375
Utilities/Internet: 50
Food: 100
Phone: 5
Transportation: ~30
Miscellaneous/Fun: 100

Total: ~650/month

For living in a city with 12+ million people, the cost of living is pretty reasonable. I wouldn't say this is the norm though; I am quite frugal.
