At a bar I got to go with a good bourbon on the rocks with a splash of water. Getting juice at a bar is no good. Most of the time it comes from concentrate through a gun (OJ and Cran nearly 100%), it tastes horrible, and they over mix or hide how much they're screwing you.

Getting it straight or with a splash of water keeps it stiff and you won't get full on juice.

Whatever is cheap/happy hour, though sometimes, I'll enjoy a captain and coke, or a gin and tonic.

This isn't a favorite cocktail thread, it's a go to bar drink thread, although I'm flattered with your obsession for me and my beverage preferences.

At home or at a party I usually drink Stoli on the rocks with a splash of grapefruit. Go ahead and file that one away.

Just had a Sazerac recently and I'm all about that shit right now. It's Cognac, absinthe, and bitters.

I get beer probably most of the time. Bars in the bay tend to have lots of craft beers.

Minimal sugar in my mixed drinks you know. Although I'll have a Jameson and coke, tastes better than diet, but I rather not have the extra sugar in the coke. Makes my hangover worse.

Typically I drink beer. Not cheap stuff, but I almost never find the super micro stuff all that appealing. The ability of the public to identify something as "hoppy" seems to have made everyone decide that's the best way to brew small batch stuff. I like ale's. Brown Ale's especially.

If I'm not drinking beer, or wine, of which I usually lean Chianti, I generally go Vodka tonic with lime, and my preference for readily available vodka is Kettle.

I have found the Honey Jack and Ginger to be a decent drink of late.

if i'm going to a bar and i have to drive i'm only drinking beer, and probably only 2 maximum.

If it's a situation where I know i can get ****ed up its probably gonna be cheap whiskey. I drink the good stuff at home where I can really enjoy it.

It's amazing how many IPAs are brewed nowadays. I just don't understand the fascination with bitter-tasting beer, but it's everywhere. Give me a dark stout any day of the week.

Go-to bar drink, though: bourbon on the rocks or a Crown & coke.

Depends on the type of bar but I usually just get a Yuengling or a gin and tonic. Maybe a scotch to end the night if I feel like it.

Yeah, I'm not a big cognac guy but Sazeracs are a classic. If I'm at a cocktail bar I'll usually go with an Old Fashioned or a super dirty martini.

Jack and coke or gin and tonic.

Yuengling lager if it's dinner at a bar/restaurant.

At one specific restaurant I've been to a few times, Sangria and steak is an incredible mix.

Macallan 15 on the rocks. Prefer hibiki but bars seldom have it.

If we are getting a table then it would be champagne and cognac
