You watch other PG's go up against Westbrook and you can see the fear on their faces.

This includes even the elite guys. CP3, Curry, whoever. Hell the Spurs pretty much had to fake an injury for Tony Parker last year IN THE PLAYOFFS just to save him from the embarrassment that he was getting going up against Westbrook.

Westbrook from the post ASB last year on, through the playoffs and into this year, has been playing absolutely out of his f*cking mind. By far the funnest player in the league to watch IMO. The only point guard in the league who you'll find outrebounding Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan for clutch offensive rebounds all while GOING RIGHT AT CP3 with zero fear. Plus with his post game coming along so fast in the past 2 years I feel extremely comfortable calling him the best posting up PG in the league. So strong and fast.... Dude is a f*cking bull who demands double teams vs so many guards in the post.

I love Westbrook so much. How can you not? The dude plays with so much f*cking passion. He lives for this f*cking shit. You could tell after the game in the post game interview with how happy he was just to be back on the court and healthy....

Also I think he should stick with the hand brace for a while... It looks pretty gangster.

Still amazes me how an old ass player like Bryant was able to play such good defense on the most athletic player possibly ever with Westbrook that game. Watching those two go at it is always one of the things that keeps my love for basketball alive man. Two total alphas who don't give a f*ck about the media and just play for the LOVE OF THE GAME.

That being said, it's pretty obvious that Westbrook has came a long way in just these past two years and would do much better now. His all around game now is f*cking sick. He's attacking the basket more, he's playing more technically sound defense, he's pacing himself better.

He talked about the game slowing down a lot for him while he was sitting out with his knee injuries and based on everything we've seen since after the all star break last year, you have to follow what he's saying.

You kidding?

Post the collective stats of the head to head matchups between those two

Dumbest f*cking "rivarly" I've ever seen when Westbrook always murders Houston. Westbrook literally played the second half of one game with a torn meniscus (the same injury that had Derrick Rose immediately unable to walk without crutches) and absolutely DEMOLISHED Beverley.

And the story has mostly been the same ever since. You could see the scared look on Beverley's face last year when Westbrook was f*cking humiliating Houston and getting the crowd ridiculously pumped and McHale had to pull Beverley to keep his ass from both fouling out and getting even more embarrassed.

Last year should have pretty much ended any talk of Beverley/Westbrook ever being a rivarly, once Beverley tried his cheap shit again and Westbrook instantly let him know that he wasn't afraid to whoop his ass, and then went apeshit for the rest of the game, forcing Beverley to get pulled

Stupidest "rivarly" ever. It's literally just a bonafide SUPERSTAR demolishing a scrub game after game, and then the scrub resorts to cheap shotting, but Westbrook just keeps coming back better and better, whooping Beverley's ass more and more :lol

Westbrook is literally scared shitless of Wolverine Pat, which is why he tries to act tough and macho whenever they meet. Beverly comes at him nonstop doe :lol Makes him his bitch time and time again

Yeah he's the main guy that comes to mind for PG's who play well vs Westbrook, but something about Westbrook this year... he looks better than ever, so who knows. Definitely looking forward to CLE vs OKC this year.

A few guys used to have Westbrook's number when he was younger but now he demolishes basically everybody.

I called Westbrook dominating before the season countless times.

OKC literally replaced Butler, Fisher, and Sefolosha with PJ3, Lamb, and Roberson who are all way more athletic and way better at finishing/scoring making it so much easier on Westbrook in transition.

And then you have Adams starting as well who is basically 2x as fast as Perk and 2x better at finishing near the rim. Not to mention Morrow being the best 3pt shooter this franchise has ever had, creating even more space for Westbrook to operate...

This team is now BUILT around Westbrook and as long as Durant and Westbrook are at least semi-rested once the playoffs roll around, good f*cking luck beating this team.

Westbrook > Durant?

Not necessarily, but with as much room as Westbrook is going to have to operate this year you're basically going to see a steroids version of what D Rose was his MVP year...

Also, Russell Westbrook is 2nd in league PER only behind Anthony Davis.

So much for all of the retards who keep trying to push the "Chuckbrook" agenda and a bunch of other dumbass shit.

Imaginary rep given. I think Rondo can contain Westbrook also even though he's one of the best point guards in the league today. Westbrook's one of the top 5 point guards in the league today, but people are delusional as hell to say that other point guards are afraid of him smh. How in the hell can you be afraid of a guy that dresses the way he dresses off the basketball court? smh.:biggums:
