In the late 1940s, a researcher named John Calhoun received a grant from Johns Hopkins University to study the effects of overpopulation on a 'Utopian' society made up of a large group of mice. 3,000 of them were placed in an enclosure that was free of predators, clean, without disease, with plenty of food/drink for all. Here is what happened:

Mouse Utopia Experiment (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Z760XNy4VM)

The 'Beautiful Ones' were a group of male mice who retreated from social groups. They spent all their time eating, sleeping, and grooming themselves alone and never tried to find mates. A few days ago, a ran across a 2 part series about human males basically doing the same thing- dropping out of society, forgoing female contact- because of the present makeup of society (mainly the feminist agenda):

The Sexodus Part I: Men Giving Up on Women & Checking Out of Society (http://www.breitbart.com/Breitbart-London/2014/12/04/The-Sexodus-Part-1-The-Men-Giving-Up-On-Women-And-Checking-Out-Of-Society)

"My generation of boys is f**ked," says Rupert, a young German video game enthusiast I've been getting to know over the past few months. "Marriage is dead. Divorce means you're screwed for life. Women have given up on monogamy, which makes them uninteresting to us for any serious relationship or raising a family. That's just the way it is."

...

In short: they grew up, dysfunctional, under-served by society, deeply miserable and, in many cases, entirely unable to relate to the opposite sex. It is the boys who were being betrayed by the education system and by culture at large in such vast numbers between 1990 and 2010 who represent the first generation of what I call the sexodus, a large-scale exit from mainstream society by males who have decided they simply can't face, or be bothered with, forming healthy relationships and participating fully in their local communities, national democracies and other real-world social structures.

The Sexodus Part II: Dishonest Feminist Panics Leave Male Sexuality In Crisis (http://www.breitbart.com/Breitbart-London/2014/12/09/The-Sexodus-Part-2-Dishonest-Feminist-Panics-Leave-Male-Sexuality-In-Crisis)

The response to part one of this series was colossal. To date, over 300,000 readers have shared it on Facebook. 16,500 readers left comments. Over 500 men wrote to me privately to express their gratitude and support, from every continent and in all age groups. The younger men spoke especially movingly. (Predictably, hundreds of angry feminists on Twitter scorned it as "entitled whinging from white male manbabies," rather proving the point of the story's premise for me.) Here are the most representative quotes from my conversations, reprinted with permission.

Mark, 24: "Everyone I know feels the same. Your article spoke directly to us. We're not all losers and nerds, we're just normal guys who are either scared of being accused of terrible stuff by harpies or simply can't be bothered any more. I can't believe I'm saying this but I just can't deal with hassle of women any more."

Mickey: "I say no to the whole thing, even though I am very heterosexual and would like the intimacy of a relationship based on mutual respect. Well, I thought I did, but it

Its easy to hate women when you have never been with one. Or don't even have any female friends. Women are a weaker gender, I will agree with ISHers on that. And I also hate seeing women use the fact they are women to lie and get sympathy (Christy Mack I'm lookin at you bitch).

But this weird agenda some posters have on here is hella suspect.

There is definitely something to it, but I think the writer of that breitbart article puts a couple of unfounded spins on this.

One of the main things to do with the rise of this is is the rise of escapism. With computers these days you can entertain yourself indefinitely. Watched all of The Wire? Well how about 24? Sons of Anarchy? Did you see every movie released in the past 50 years yet? How about you stay indoors this weekend and binge watch a show? How about you play WoW 50 hours a week with your group of online friends? How about all the porn you could ever want at your fingertips in case you get horny? This kind of behaviour has just become easier and easier and easier over the past two decades.

Another thing is with the unhealthy dieting habits and increase of obesity, young people have flat out become less attractive.

These things contribute to a bunch of wimpy, socially awkward men who don't know how to talk to girls and don't know how to satisfy their sexual desire in a normal way. Which gives them extremely weird ideas on women, hence the blatant misogyny and the "theredpill" type stuff and the creepy dudes who treat every girl like they are literal angels.

Excellent insight :applause:

I think the writer of the articles has a definite, strong anti-feminist agenda for one reason or another. Kind of odd that he attributes the phenomena solely to the perceived effeminization of society and not, as you pointed out, the vast impact of technology on modern human interaction.

These are definitely factors, and I think another part of it is that the loudening of the public 'voice' of women collectively has made men very uncomfortable acting like men publicly. Women are basically leveraging their status as a historically disadvantaged group to coerce men into being tame, submissive, cowering snivelers without any fear of counter argument (because that would be totally un PC and set off a tremendous witch hunt). The historic role of men is to be the dominant gender, and women are striving for what ALL minoirities today strive for: "equality when we want it. special treatment when we want it." It's a natural mechanism and would become prevalant in any group that found itself in a minority position. Who doesn't want to have their cake and eat it too?

Most men have become so afraid of saying or opposing the wrong thing publicly and ostricizing themself from popular society. Men who are already susceptible to weakness and lack of confidence, lack of ability to attract women, like deucewallaces, even find themselves actively going along with the feminist agenda in the hopes that it will make them stand out in the eyes of women, since nothing else they can do will. Women are naturally more liberal, and many men position themselves as ultra liberals simply as a way to get women's attention. The problem is women can't make up their minds, because they want their "equality plus special treatment" which requires men to be submissive, but then they claim they like take-charge men. So they're trying to have it both ways, and betas like deuce and real men wear green etc. acquiesce because they might as well, they don't feel comfortable as men anyway.

It's really creating a bizarre effect on society. Men have been the unquestioned authority in virtually all cultures for all of existence. We're definitely entering a completely new era in human society. And frankly if you're a man, I don't see why you would want to rush into it. But, ehh...

Evidently this subject hits a bit too close to home for many posters here. Unsurprisingly :oldlol:

Seems to me like a lot of people with these attitudes just lack real life experience. Anyone who thinks feminists run the world and women are all immoral harpies clearly hasn't interacted with women normally or often. I think LJJ is on to something with the distraction of the modern world. It is easy to get sold on the archetypes of the ideal women through those mediums and when the world ends up being messy and complicated it can be easy to go back to the safety of an online world.

Plus I have a girlfriend, I don't hate women. Most of my hate for the woman figure can be concentrated on one person, my sister. Now that bitch can die for all I care.

It is because people think that liking anime = being obsessed with anime boobs and Hentai

I like anime because I see some interesting stories that are not good vs evil like in the movies. Most Hollywood movies now are either sob stories or military or ex military soldiers against the terrorists.

Heck I even hate when Japan shows cartoon panties and call it fanservice. Most of the time I am facepalming that crap.

Also most people I talk with that likes anime are people that you wouldn't expect. Heck I met this guy (he's a chubby chaser even though he could get anything he wants, a gym guy with a pretty face) who I never even expected to be an anime fan who is a player. Like if you see him you wouldn't expect him to be. He even have a restaurant that leaves him a lot of money.

My point is one thing is not related to the other.
