He has some nice fakes. So quick at going in to them off the dribble but sometimes he loses the ball from being too quick. I'd love to see O'quinn next to vucevic and given a green light to stretch the floor

Nenes swat and shove on Payton was a nice "welcome to the NBA" moment. Overall tonight though, wizards D has been atrocious

Payton already knows a lot about being brutally blocked in the NBA though. Knows more about it than any player should lol.

Yeah I admittedly haven't seen much Magic games this year, and Payton has a lot of talent but he seems like he gets rejected an awful lot.. And as I'm typing this butler blocks him from behind lol.

I was expecting a letdown tonight. They don't look to have much energy.

Without Vucevic playing they should win but they are going to have to step up the effort.

They called a lose ball foul on Green, was a definitely a questionable call, although I didn't see a replay on Wizards feed, on the first look it just looked like 3-4 guys hustling for a lose ball.. Really didnt see a foul

Refs didn't change that in any way bud, that would've won the game if Butler didn't even shoot FTs. In fact, we might've been able to put it away at the buzzer.

.....

The magic who were pegged as one of the bottom teams this season just ran with the a team that's top 4 while their best player is out. Could have won if it wasn't for a questionable call as well but that could go either way.

Yet that's a fail when they win with a crazy last second play......

Can't really be upset with this game as an orlando fan. We have still been playing above expected lately and our young guys have really been stepping up.

The Wall "flop" was not even that bad. He definitely flopped, but there was still contact and the correct call was made. The Butler one was BS but it didn't change the outcome what so ever.

It was the correct call, although Wall did flop, no doubt. Tobias still charged into Wall who had his feet planted outside the restricted area. Easy call.

who gives a shit as what they were pegged as? are you dense? i'm talking about this game. all they had to do was make sure they took the last shot and it would go to overtime at worst. instead they take their shot too early and give the wiz enough time to get a clean look off. that's elementary execution :lol

It's a fail. I don't give a shit where were ranked this game was ours and JV and the refs took it away from us. I literally called at home how dumb is it was to put OUR ONLY BIG IN THE GAME to defend the ball with 0.8 seconds left. And it wasn't hindsight. I said that shit was stupid as soon as I saw it.

That was the first thing i thought of. Inexperience showed there.

The Magic should have been happy to go to OT since the Wizards are playing their 3rd game in 4 nights and went double overtime last game.

I agree. That's on Dipo. But if the calls weren't shitty it wouldn't have came to that. JV needs to actually run a ****ing play to get it to Tobias.

The Magic were going to switch on defense once the ball was passed in on the final sequence. But they didn't have that opportunity.

How is this man a coach?

They aren't. Well atleast the players on the floor aren't. There have been some shady stuff with injuries so far (KOQ was literally out a month with... a sprained ankle..., Vuc out for 5 games for minimal soreness.) But the fact is that JV coached a shitty game,

yeah but management is tanking. the players have played above expected and are ruining that. If we are actually trying to make the play offs they need to fire vaughn before the mid season and pick up someone who's actually going to try and win games.

Why?

To me it looks like they didn't count on so many teams being terrible this season, maybe thought they could get away with winning some games to show improvement while still being bad enough for a top pick. Don't think that's going to pan out because we are playing really good but don't seem set up to really go for a play off run and other teams look worse.
