That 05/06 Knicks team... Man, that might have been the worst collection of talent and mix I ever saw. It was mind blowing bad, even from the coaching staff. I think it currently holds the title for the worst Knicks team ever, at least IMO.

At the current pace, this probably will be the first Knicks team to lose 60+ games. But according to most of the management and Knick fans, this team is supposed to be tanking. That team was supposed to be competitive. It turned out to be a horrible joke.

Spurs without their 4 best players is still a better roster than the Knicks without Melo.

Besides the Spurs role players....have people propping them up while they are spurs. It isnt some special set of players minus the big 4. Nobody cares about Marco on the Bulls. Nobody cares about Gary Neal now than he isnt a spur. Or Blair. Or Nando Decolo.

People just see them prosper on that team and make more of them than their skillset justifies.

As always half the people on their roster wouldnt have anyone saying their names on any other team. Jeff Ayres and Aaron Baynes...on the Knicks? You would just be calling them Melos garbage teammates.

Neal was always the guy on the spurs that went a little out of the system at times making Pop angry, he's still an ok player. Marco was good on the bulls too.

That whole roster was a mess. There are 6 guys who are still in the league from that team and some of them have decent roles/careers, specifically Jamal Crawford being the best of the bunch.
