Man, I actually like Ellis so I hope he doesn't start resorting to this, but when in Rome I guess.

There are just so many players already now who drive into the lane and, you can see it in their body language, has no intention of actually making a field goal; they just want to get to the line.

But it's like Qwyjibo said, it works so it's tough to justify not to do it... I mean it's not fun to watch, but that's up to the Adam Silver to change things.

Ellis used to shoot more from inside the paint than any other perimeter player. I doubt that's still the case, but he still gets in there a lot, so 4 FTA seems very low. However, I haven't really noticed him getting treated unfairly either.
