I can understand being hesitant of throwing it to one of the options in the top middle but he had three receivers wide open and any of them would have been a fine pass. On top of him looking a lot slower after the knee injury it seems like he lost brain cells.

He'll be out of the league in a couple of years.

RG3 isn't important enough to warrant his own thread in the OTC.

Almost zero experts (QB position) sided with RG3.

Everyone that played QB chose luck.

Eg. Aikman, Steve young, Phil simms, trent dilfer, etc.

you had sports personalities like jemele hill and skip bayless choose RG3.

Some non-QB ex-players also thought RG3 would be better.

Not an expert here but don't systems, o-line, and offensive talent contribute to a QB's performance? Doesn't Indy have a constantly well built o-line year after year? What if the teams were changed. Could Luck lead Washington to a better record?

Not siding here. Just generally curious

i don't think Indy's oline is that good but i could be wrong.

thing is the Skins backups have done much better getting the ball to receivers but they still lose and throw a lot of int's.

its more RG3's brain/vision which is hard to correct. plus theres talk about him being used to success and never having to work at being a great QB so they question his will to be better than he is.. steve young said he's talked to people who say RG3 doesn't put in the extra work. grudens given up on him completely with no hope from what it sounds like, but snyder/gm want to still go with RG3.

athletes withh media hype, high draft, video game covers, etc. will always have their fans. its just like CJK(chris johnson) where he had sooo many fans who kept making excuses for his drop off, including him, blaming everyone else. now look at that bum. ivory is such a better runner it makes him look like a overhyped scrub. same with trent richardson, worst RB in the NFL~

luck's oline isn't all that solid .. gets plenty of breakdowns .. luck is just built like a tank and he escapes pressure a lot of the times .. also from what I see, he seems fearless .. doesn't get rattled and if he makes a mistake .. he comes right back the next drive as if it never happened ..

isn't some of the rumor with griffin that something is off physically .. just not the same post injury ?

Man he had such a good rookie year that I believe there is something there. Maybe in the perfect system....whatever that may be for him

What if he was in Denver? Great o-line, great receivers...
Would he shine there?

Actually, no. Indy's O-Line is one of the worst in the league. I swear Luck gets hit on every 3rd play.. they can't block for shit. And the running game suffers because of it as well. Besides the defense, Luck is carrying this team on his back.

IMO Luck would have the Redskins in the playoff race. Garcon, DeSean, and Jordan Reed are incredible athletes.. they just need a decent QB.

I don't know about this year but last year and in the previous year Colts had a generally poor offensive line which was especially weak in the interior(Guards+Center).. He was getting hit alot.

As for offensive talent the redskins do have talent in guys like DeSean Jackson, Pierre Garcon, Alfred Morris, etc. I think they do have a poor o-line(not sure though) but alot of the problem was with RG3 and his tendencies to hold the ball on for to long.

thats what trips me out about some media and people pretending like he doesn't have help, or they got no talent :facepalm

even their RB's are all good.
