Probally the best stats on the Cavs all game.. Yet no one who watched the game would say he was their best player

Easy. The points he scores are often created by others so he'll rarely take over a game, by nature and he grabs rebounds while playing poor defense.

His stats are too random.. He can't score when they need a bucket, but can hit threes sporadically throughout the game, maybe get a put back or two and a bunch of defensive rebounds and come out with a great line

He was 6-8 at the line as well

The More I see out of Love the More Overrated I see he is.. Maybe he will improve as season moves on but he is really very unathletic so cannot create his own shot unless its an up and under type move and is not great of defensive end.

I do agree that Love is underrated. Saw a lot of great things from him last year, and even taking into account that Minny is missing some other very good players, they've been levels and levels worse without Love.

Love isn't really someone who can guide you to championships or even finals as a first option. He is a very good player. One of the top five power forwards in the game currently. But he is best used as a second or third option. He is a good fit for the Cavs team as the second/third option after LeBron and maybe Kyrie depending on how hot his shooting is.

Defensively, he was never that good. It has improved a bit but still not good enough. The fact that Cavs don't have a genuine rim protector doesn't help either.

When Wiggams has Shaq like stats, yet his visible Impact is no where close

He hasnt had a top perimeter defensive guard to utilize his top rebounding skill.

If you have someone taking low % shots with good/great rebounding, compared to teams that are taking close to the basket shots with him still having superior rebounding ability at the 4 position.

It makes a difference.

I suspect that he has a stronger "impact" against teams who likes to shoot three's

On Minnesota, they simply didn't have the firepower to be close to a title contender. I don't really blame Love for that. With that said, he's not an elite two way player like an Anthony Davis. He also doesn't put the fear of god in you when it comes to making u a poster child like Blake. His inside-outside scoring arsenal isn't as deadly as LaMarcus.

While Love is crafty on the block, he doesn't command a double team down there. Love's magic is being among the top two-three stretch PF's, passing PF's, and rebounders in the NBA. Which can translate to 25 points and 13 rebounds a night. Those numbers won't be like that in Cleveland due to the talent there. But Love has proven he can get those numbers.

However, most of the great PF's historically were either epic on the block scoring, great defenders, could overwhelm u with athletic ability or strength, or were freaks of nature with elite SF-point forward kind of skills (Barkley, Dirk, KG). So I think that's why Love's game can seem as less impactful. But trust me, dude is a very impactful player!

He was fantastic last season. His supporting cast was statistically the worst in the league.

He's been pretty terrible this season though.
