There is no one all-time list, but it depends what you're looking at, really. Impact? Shaq. Resume? Has to be Kobe.

People forget how much of a beast Shaq was in Orlando, hell even on the Lakers before winning those titles.
Yes, he wasn't flashy like Kobe but was the most dominant player since Wilt. It's as close as an argument since Kobe is MJ lite, but I gotta go with Shaq.

This. Kobe's longevity alone would lead me to take him over Shaq. But Shaq at his peak was a fu*king monster.
all time list.. Kobe
Shaq left a large print on the game but way too many short seasons, only had 7 seasons in 19 years of over 70 games
too many seasons coming into camp out of shape then missing games to injuries, healing on company time or spending part of the season playing his way in to shape.. then the charade of his last 4-5 years bouncing around the league chasing rings on others coattails
I can't put a guy who didn't take himself or the game serious in front of one who has...

Shaq is number 7 on the all-time list, Kobe is 8 or 9. So it's Shaq for me.
