Not as fast as he used to be, which results in not getting in the paint as easily as before.

plus he still can't really shoot...

This. He looks like he's still working his way back from the knee surgery and has lost some quickness. Some loss of explosiveness would already be expected anyway from a 28 year old PG.

And although his disproportionately long arms and huge hands (along with his creativity) help him finish around the rim, they probably really hinder him from a jump shooting perspective.
