This guy used to be an athletic specimen now he can only play 25MPG? I didn't find anything on an injury.
2012: 47 games 32MPG, 18/8 on 48%
2015: 24 games 25MPG, 14/8 on 57%

Dude isn't as athletically dominant as he used to be, big part why he was so great with the Suns and his first year in NY.

He can still be a decent player, but he doesn't offer too much. Defense is the obvious issue with him, so you can't play him 35 minutes a night.

I remember Felton averaging something like 8 assists as well before they traded him in the Melo deal.

If Knicks can play fat melo for 35min they can definitely play Amare for 35min

Stat is still EASILY the best finishing big in the league. Name me anybody IN THEIR PRIME who can finish off the roll like STAT right now???? Over the last 3 injury plagued seasons he STILL has more highlight posterizer dunks than any bigs in the game. Last season he had numerous games where he DOMINATED but coach Woody kept him under 20 minutes for whatever reason. His per 36 numbers last season were allstar/superstar status. This season is no different. Yeah, he has issues on defense but offensively he is still a top 3 pf. Add to that the fact that his back to basket game has become elite. He is the ONLY PF in the game thats backing defenders down to dunk on them and his hook shot is not bad at all. Explain your post bruh, cause either u dont watch games or u are a hater (shrugs).

Just a start, he gonna help Melo with upcoming winstreak. Melo is a monster defense player and Amare will learn from him with time, by end of the reg season when playoffs come they will be one of the best defense teams and with easily best offense, triangle takes time.

You actually look into that? Plenty of teams have a #2 putting up worse numbers than Amare. At least 7-8. And many play more than 25 minutes.

There are teams with a better record than the Knicks who dont have ANYONE putting up 14 a game....much less the second option.

Who? The Pacers, with an amazing defense?

Im not sure 9th has ever been what one would call ""amazing". The Pacers play hard and they play together. Them and a lot of other teams dont have the talent the Knicks do.

A 14/8 57% shooting second option is better than a lot of people have had. And hes trending up. Hes put up 16 a game on 61% shooting in December.
