I've got:

Lebron
Durant
Cousins
Griffin
Paul
Westbrook

All of these guys are elite players that could dominate in any era. Not just their own.

MJ, Dream, Shaq >> anyone today. Hell, DRob would collect most MVPs today.

Paul, for as good as he is, is an awful flopper and cry baby. I'm not sure that he could handle being hand checked all the way down the court. Westbrook is really fast but I'm not sure that he's a good enough shooter to open up his game because they would control his drive more with the hand checking. Lebron would be fine and I don't remember who else was on that list other than Cousins but he'd have zero shot at being an MVP then. The bigs were way too good. If Alonzo Mourning played now he'd average 28ppg and 16 rbs. And he wasn't that good offensively.

Top 15 best players in todays league would take over that era in terms of MVPs. Kobe would most likely win it everytime. But of course Pippen, Shaq, Malone, maybe even Duncan would enter the discussion through the mid-late 90s.

Griffin would be no better than Shawn Kemp... and he wasn't an MVP candidate.

Cousins plays like a young Derrick Coleman... and he wasn't an MVP candidate.

Westbrook? No chance.

LeBron and Durant would be in the running. That's it.
