Four players with 40+ points. BTW, Vandeweghe was a very under-rated player in his era.

Not really. Vandeweghe added little value to a basketball team. But not saurprised you don't see that. If all you care about is a box score then you would think he was underrated. Once again you are like a 12 year old who found a stat book but knows nothing at all about basketball.

His career's underrated because most only remember him as a role player on the Knicks.

They still happen. Suns/Nets went to 161/157 in 2OT in 2006.

That Denver team was coached by Doug Moe, who do not believe in defense. His offense was all about run and gun , this prevented teams from setting up defense.

Heck yeah. Doug Moe's Denver Nuggets teams were fun to watch. It was all offense. They would guard you but it was token defense. Great times. That was a fun team to watch or hear on the radio. I remember reading about how the Nuggets averaged 110 possessions per game that year!!

Yeah, those 80s game, you have to be in their local area to watch that on tv. They were never televised nationally unless you are either the Celtics or the Lakers or playoff games. They were the equivalent to the D'Antoni's Sun.

Isiah accountable for 81 points, could have been 90 if he wasn't bricking foul shots. Isiah was another that doesn't get respect the way he deserved it.

Vandeweghe accountable for 67 points.

148 points between two players, insane!!!

I don't know when he bricked the FT's, but, in most cases, no bricked FT's would mean no OT. So, maybe it did good for his overall numbers.
